There's an easier way.... Open Rom Manager in your apps drawer , go to Download Roms , Find Google Apps and download the top one.

Also, if you read the OP there are instructions.

You made my month! I didn't think it was going to be possible to install on my Panama MoviStar Dext/Cliq (old MoviStar.ES firmware - everybody is saying it can't be done), but I rooted using:

TheDudesBoot_Amon_RAsRecovery.shx

(instructions from another forum)

Then immediately installed CM7 and VOILA!!! Android 2.3.1!!!

Grab the latest nightly and you will be on Android 2.3.5 lol

Well I've updated to the latest and cleared cache and data....I am thinking I went through the market login process incorrectly which screwed my market app....now all is well in that respect. One other thing I noticed is that auto suggest/correct doesn't seem to be working. Just an annoyance really. I am missing something? Thanks for the help!

USB Tethering will only work on Linux Machines. Download Barnacle from the Market for WiFi Tethering.

I just flashed the latest nightly and flashed the google apps. I solved the problem of the phone not c charging but somehow there are no google apps in my phone.

The new market is pretty buggy and unstable for many(force close every time), myself included. Nightly 85 was supposed to have a fix for it or you can go into settings-->applications-->manage applications-->find and choose market ans uninstall updates from there. That should give you the old market back.

Kernel.org/repo the main linux repo was attcked by hackers last week and it's shut down for now for security reasons I guess. Google it...I'm not sure if they are running yet....far as I read they are upgrading security and making new passwords and such...been a few days since I've read anything about it though...
