Hey guys,
First off, the cyanogen roms are amazing! Thanks so much for your time and effort! Ive been a 2 year user of them over several phones, and it rocks!
I have a problem tho. My cliq isnt letting me connect to WiFi. I heard that flashing to #125 would be a fix for now, but I dont see it available (the earliest I see available on the release page is #137). I have tried both the stable releases of update-cm-7.1.0.1-CLIQ-signed.zip and update-cm-7.1.0-CLIQ-signed.zip, as well as the latest nightly, but still have a problem. With some roms, after choosing a wifi network to connect to, it just alters between "connecting", "Disconnected" and "Scanning". Other roms give me the "error" message under the WiFi settings. Either way, I am unable to connect to WiFi. I have tried connecting to multiple wireless networks, so it cant be the networks that are causing an issue.
Any help will be appreciated!
UPDATE: I flashed a different rom (Standard Edition: SuperOSR-morrison-2.1.1.zip) and still have the same issue. Is it possible that this may be a hardware issue? The wifi has worked before with no problem.Last edited by carrots; 11-12-2011 at 07:30 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Hi everyone!
First I want to thank for the ROM. It is amazingly beautiful and much smoother than the original I 1.5 I had. But I am having a big problem that I can't seem to get around. During the rooting and ROM instalation everything went smooth. After starting up the phone I noticed the clock was wrong. I tried to change it and it is stuck. Whether letting the network provide the time&date or trying to define it in the settings, the clock does not change.
I have tried using ClockSync.app with root permission, but also no change when trying to sync. Every time I reboot the system clock goes back to 1am, jan 1st 1970. Without a correct system clock I seem to be unable to sync to my google accounts by market/gmail/youtube/... apps.
Can someone shed some light? I tried flashing different ROMs and made no differences.
My phone is a rooted Dext originally from Brazil (Claro provider) and I am currently using it in Germany (O2 provider) with update-cm-7.1.0.1-CLIQ-signed.zip.
Thanks a lot!!

Sounds like you're having radio issues.

Hey Double0EK, thanks for the reply!
I guess you are right! I do have an 5012 radio on, but I access to 3G without problems. Will try upgrading my radio tonight and let you know what happens.
Thanks!

He j@$$yCliq and Ngiordano,
Why there is no more nightly update since #162. We are used to have frequently ones.
I hope the projet is still alive.

@chakti the buildbot that does the nightly builds broke; it will eventually get fixed and nightly builds will continue.

Hey, my cliq reboots about 2-3 times a day. I'm thinking it's a battery issue. However, I have 2 oem batteries and it happens on both. Happens more often on the backup battery actually. Can someone help me out?

@ngiordano ,@adlx , @j@$$yCliq
Do you know anything conclusive of the CM9 upcoming support of Android 4.0 ICS on the Cliq/Dext?
Would that be a possibility? Should this be time to upgrade our beloved Cliqs?

FYI for everybody, the buildbot has been fixed for quite a while but the CM team decided that they will not be building nightlies until they finish merging ICS. So therefore unless 7.2 is released this will most likely be the end for a while.
I talked to one of the CM guys and he told me that anything with less than 512mb RAM and/or 512mb ROM will not be supported. Remember they dropped support for the OG Droid which is a faster phone than this...
