Keyboard Back Light
First of all great rom..Appreciate your work.
Flashed it yesterday all went well. Running smoothly. But one thing I noticed that the physical keyboard back light isn't turning off with the light sensor unless I point to a bright light and another thing when I press the ALT key, back light doesn't change (in stock android 2.1, Back light changes on ALT key press). can this be fixed?

I flashed my girlfriends Cliq last monday night. The 2nd of january. She's really happy with it. It's so much more responsive and the battery life is also really good. The Radio is 76xx-63905041-SDCBALUM. The phone she bought in the states with t-mobile as the carrier. We live in Holland. 3G works like a charm and Wifi too. camer is good. The app 'google listen' crashes sometimes but it's just because she uses it a lot.
I can definetelly recommend this rom. I wish to thank everyone who made this rom. The rom we used before was chocolate.vanilla. It was not a succes to our oppinion.

Hi, I did a total wipe of my Cliq and reinstalled completely, now my phone is super fast and stable, but some time ago it crashed while trying to send a picture through whatsapp.
You know, the usual method is attaching a picture, but the problem is when you try to attach a picture after taking it. After taking the pictures with the camera, as soon as I touch the screen to take the picture, it rebooted.
Now it has happened just once, but what i am trying to troubleshoot is why, could it be a low memory situation? I donīt suspect overclock since I am using setcpu and the frequency is below 400mhz.
So the culprit could be that, between the whatsapp and the built.in camera app (stock by the way), there is not enough memory to keep the picture in cache (I am only guessing the process so... you know... newbie here) and the system just crashes.
So in short:
Situation: the phone crashed while taking a picture to attach it to a whatsapp message
Camera: stock app
Photo geo location active?: yes
Whatsapp: latest official version
Memory management: V6 supercharger update 9 RC4
Rom: CM7 - 11162011 - nighly
Antivirus loaded at the time?: Yes, Lookout antivirus
Wifi connected?: yes
GPS active?: yes
need anything else?

I'm camping the CyanogenMOD changelog and found this
So, this means that ICS could be implemented for the Motorola Cliq/Dext, right?morrison: disable ICS rotation animation (android_device_motorola_morrison)
UPDATE: It seems that it's only backporting ICS stuff to Gingerbread, sorry for the false hypeLast edited by SebaS0FT; 02-14-2012 at 12:22 PM.

i started off with back up version of 1.5 with handlers exploit recovery then i tried to change that to clockworkmod 5.0.2.0 using terminal emulator. flashed was good then reboot into recovery all is good.
i cycle phone then power up in recovery mode using cam button and it loads up the handlers exploit recovery.
i did a back up using cw5020 and did factory reset the restor and same problem.

Got last issue to work I just updated to froyo did back up then a restore and it stuck.
Now a have a question about the rom.... is there anyway to add a different color between the sent and received texts. The plane whit back ground. Is a bit difficult to see and I don't care for the black background. If not can anyone recomend a good free sms app that works well on the cliq/dext?
On a last note this is an awsome rom amazinghow to and support great job and thanks for all the hard work I can now avoid buying a new phone for a while.

I have a question if anyone wants to help answer.
So I was wondering how to upgrade to a more up to date version but idk if I would just have to flash the new rom version or wipe everything, then flash it or what? Cuz I want to keep the phone the way the homescreens and all of the settings are but I just want to update it so if anyone could help me it would be helpful & great rom by the way
