Keyboard Back Light
First of all great rom..Appreciate your work.
Flashed it yesterday all went well. Running smoothly. But one thing I noticed that the physical keyboard back light isn't turning off with the light sensor unless I point to a bright light and another thing when I press the ALT key, back light doesn't change (in stock android 2.1, Back light changes on ALT key press). can this be fixed?

Wifi disconnects
Hi. What a great rom. I like it a lot. 2 problems, however. My wifi often disconnects no matter that the sleep policy is set to "never". Another issue is the swype keyboard is always unselected after reboot or poweroff. Any suggestions?

Hi all. Somebody has a problem with the keyboard? I apply the rom with the files 'SuperOSR-morrison-2.1.1.zip' and 'SuperOSR-morrison-2.1.1-azerty-patch.zip' and everything is ok, menu, apps etc, but the keyboard write any character. sometime show the message " 'com.android.inputmethod.latin' was interrupted. try again."
Please any idea? @adlx ?
thanks in advance.
Mauricio

@ Mauricio - if you want qwerty then only flash 'SuperOSR-morrison-2.1.1.zip' and not Azerty patch.

whoa! I think you need to read this first in order to get your phone rooted, This guide is very useful(thanks Adlx) if you follow this you would have root permision, upgraded radio and custom recovery. I think you need to know before install anything, which radio you have and android version you are using. the method in the link is for the ones who had Cliq stucked in Android 1.5 whit 5012 radio...
[Rom] adlxmod 2.0.2 - Android 2.1 with Motoblur
hope this may help!

@KopCity "Radio" refers to the radio.img file which corresponds to your carrier's UMTS/WCDMA/3G data frequencies.
But there should be no issue with 3G radio, as adlx states in the OP, "safe for 3G". Since this rom does not contain a radio.img, the existing file in your phone is retained.
See the guides to root the phone first, which provides the means to install a custom recovery, which provides the means to install a custom rom such as this one.Hic sunt dracones...

I assume you are following the method posted by Skrilx_CZ - in the OP, adlx noted tonymy01's reference to SuperOneClick, which is much simpler, No need to download the entire android SDK; just the S1C app to your pc & follow the directions. That link to xda-developers forum is here:
[ROOT] Universal Cliq and Dext rooting method (Safe: Won't break 3g)
The main things shortfuse mentions there:
Any further questions you have concerning rooting your phone, please post in the appropriate rooting thread. Discussions in this thread should be specific to the superosr cliq rom.You NEED to put your phone on USB Debugging mode
You NEED to install make sure the Android drivers for your phone are installed
Make sure you DO NOT mount your SD card.
If you still can't get something to run, try doing it in recovery mode.

I have flashed this ROM on three phones. one is a CliqXT (MB501) and the other two are a Cliq (MB200). The CliqXT has been working great for months now, I love it. I then flashed the ROM on my friend's two Cliqs (MB200) and everything, on one of the Cliq (MB200), seems great except for the 'SETTINGS->DISPLAY->SCREEN TIMEOUT' option. The option for 'SCREEN TIMEOUT' is darkened out and I am unable to select it. The phone's screen turns off about 1 second after an action. It is very annoying and I am unable to find the problem. The second Cliq (MB200) and CliqXT (MB501) has no problem with this option.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

[Rom] SuperOSR 2.1.1 for Motorola Cliq (Android 2.3.7)
Yes, it is the latest SuperOSR rom, Android 2.3.7. Very stable, but read through the thread for reports of issues - there are always some risks to functionality.
Use the standard edition in the first post. Ignore Asian/Azerty patch - no need for those.Hic sunt dracones...

I built a new build the other day with updated sources. Not tested, but if someone want it
http://www.goo-inside.me/devs/adlx/m...20131-0047.zip ;-)
Edit: don't try it, it doesn't flash correctly and won't boot :-(Last edited by adlx; 04-30-2012 at 07:18 AM.

Just installed it to see if it would get rid of the "Mobile Network State: disconnected" I got on previous versions, and got stuck at the "SuperOSR" static loading screen upon system reboot.
Reverted to SuperOSR 2.1.1, and now the SIM card is automatically unlocked, even when "Lock SIM card" is enabled... weird...
Having said that, love what you are doing with these ROMs

Yes, I wipe everything before flashing a new ROM.
I even redownloaded the file just in case, still got stuck there after flashing.
Also, 2.2 must be magic or something :P, because after going back to 2.1.1 and restoring my APNs, it now shows "Mobile Network State: connected" as it should
