Motorola A3000 <<Any one hear about this thing?>>

Any one heard of the A3000 besides me????





Initial specs are looking to be this:
TOUCH SCREEN - So you iphone toting kids can try this

Fresh from the lab tables:
* 109 × 80 × 13.7mm measurements
* 2.8 inches QVGA resolution 260,000 color TFT touch-screen handwriting
* Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
* Memory Card Expansion up to 32GB

So you've probably figured out that this is gonna be some sort of a smart phone. So yes it will be equipped with a 528Mhz Qualcomm MSM7201A processor with 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM.

So far it's may have multiple versions for multiple carriers and audiences. I think the overseas edition of this phone will have some form of WiFi (802.11g?) and 3G/HSDPA (2100Mhz UMTS). But we know for sure it should have GSM/GPRS/EDGE network support.

As far as a multimedia camera it should be 3.2 megapixel with auto-focus (Finally a moto with some decent focusing) and probably an LED for flash. But the camera is currently unknown as mainstream mobiles are getting 5 megapixel cameras. As time progresses the camera may be higher than the initial development notes. Also it may be equipped with GPS or A-GPS functions. Bluetooth is a given but A2DP and all that cool junk may be later.

Until then, I'll just stick to my SoftBank Mobiles and NTT DoCoMo Mobiles.... I need to be impressed by Motorola these days.

Ok moto u have for sure the 3G and the WinMo... pls make it with a 5MP and WiFi ...and put some GPS just to finish the kill of the iPhone!!!

iphone has been killed a billion times. Don't need a motorola phone to kill it. My current mobile kills the iphone over and over with it's eyes shut.

I don't know the specs of the iphone off the top of my head but i know the screen resolution is not 854x480 and the LCD for the iphone IS NOT 2000:1 contrast ratio. However my current mobile is so yeah.... take that iphone~~~ And if I extend my antenna I can receive 1 Seg live TV This is one reason to love Japan

iPhone didn't sell in Japan because it didn't have 1 Seg TV.
