On November 21, 2007, American communications company Motorola, Inc. filed to protect the trademark DEXT in relation to “mobile telephones” as well as “electronic personal organizers, computer software and programs, computer e-commerce software, computer software for sending and receiving short messages and electronic mail, digital cameras, video cameras” and “wireless telephone services” among other things.

Gizmodo is reporting that Motorola’s upcoming media phones are to be called Motorola ZINE. DEXT could be the name of one of these devices, or some kind of service for ZINE or other devices.

If Motorola needs a new four-letter name for a device (like RAZR, ROKR or KRZR), Mork would humbly suggest MORK.

I personally never cared about the name of my phone, but it does get to me sometimes trying to explain Moto names after the "razor".

"Krazer" is my vote for the most confusing moto name that really needed a vowel in there. Everyone I knew said each letter instead of trying to pronounce it. The "Riser" was mostly pronounced like the wu tang clan member "riza". Now I have no idea is this Zine is like z-ee-n or z-eye-n

For me and other is really easy to remember, doesn't make confusing, and easy to pronounce. Maybe for some people is hard to said but that's english language.
