[ROM] Adlxmod XT 2.1.54-2 "Consolidation" for CliqXT / Quench

Adlxmod 2.1.54-2 for Motorola CliqXT/Quench

- Based off CliqXT's Motoblur 2.1.54 (includes OpenGL 3D, JIT, Native Multitouch)
- NO Radio included, as always (3g safe!)

This release consolidates the following rom & patches into one full rom:

Prerequisites to install adlxmod 2.x:

1 - You need a rooted phone. Use the SuperOneClick 1.5, see this post.
2 - You need a custom recovery --> Download and install my 1-click Recovery Flasher from the Market

Download rom file(s) here:

Once in the rom, install Adlxmod Updater from the Market to receive and install latest updates. (Was not included in the rom at the time I made it).

Wiping or not wiping?:

Recommendations:

- BlurHome app drawer is a bit laggy (not really my build issue), I recomend using Launcher Pro from the market (free) --> Really FAST!
- 100% CPU? - The system loads a ton of apps upon startup, I recommend using a task cleaner to kill them. In my case my phone runs really smooth!
- After flashing and restoring your conf, check the ringtones and notifications tones. Sometimes it is messed up.
- Unable to connect to 3g? if you have issues to connect to data (2g/3g), double check your APN!

Q&A (Will grow later)

Q: How do I enable A2SD?
A: Partition SD from Recovery (will format the whole SD!), then in Adlxmod, open the gScript app and run "Enable a2sd".

Q: I have issue connecting with the browser. Everyth else is working fine
A: Check that there is no "null" values set in you APN. If there is, correct the APN. I recommend using "APN Backup & Restore", free from Market.

So my wife has a Cliq XT and I'm a bit nervous about flashing roms to it since she can't troubleshoot it as well as I can. In the past, the Adlxmod roms have been pretty stable, how's this one doing so far?

Also, when you say the speakerphone bug is minimized, how much of an issue is it?

its very stable actually and i usually don't go for adlx's roms but props to his great rom

Thank you very much for all your work. I actually like my Cliq XT after installing each of your updates, and now finally your complete consolidation ROM.

One question: Is there any trick to getting the phone to keep the live wallpaper after putting the display to sleep? The live wallpapers work great, until the display times out, or I put it to sleep. After waking up, the wallpaper reverts back to the static image.

I ran into this too a while back. Some wallpapers seem to work with our ROMS and some do not. Try the Bokeh live wallpaper or Nexus One. They work fine.

I made a call today, and tryed putting it on speaker, but it was very choppy. like every other word was cut.

also, setting up a2sp. i was following the directions here. post #88. when i reboot at step 6, it loops on loading page. Am i not suppose to repair Ext?

Strange behavior with this one. I synced my contacts with T-Mobile Backup. The contacts are in the phone as verified by searching the contacts list, but they are not displaying in the contacts list unless I am doing a search.

Has anyone else noticed this? If I put the contacts into my Google account, they show up from Google.

It is just the contacts that are in the phone that are not showing.

I also cannot import any contacts from the SIM card or export any to the SIM card.

That's a bug in my 1.0.2 libaudio patch that is included in the ROM. Not sure why adlx used an old version in his build. Here is the latest patch that should fix that: speaker fix link
