Yeah I noticed it been controlling the rom manager version more tightly probably due to additional custom rom versions. I will be the releasing another version with a newer rom manager andy attempting to stay on top of that more now.

Great work, man. I like this ROM.
But I get little problem here.
Camera freezes after taking picture, all buttons not function except home, and the picture would not save. Tried using Camera360, same thing.
Any suggestion?

There have been known issues with the camera for awhile now. See Turl's thread there have been some proposed fixes, but everything I implement only helps it does not stop the issue. As far as things like home key and others not working that starts to sound like you had an error during flash. You may want to re-download and re-flash and I always highly recommend you BACKUP everything with Nandroid [and in OS app like titanium [that way you can save apps and their settings and restore to any version of the OS 2.3.4 and higher as that is the base version of CM7 currently [speaking of the base ANDROID version].

Fix perms can sometimes help with some issues though it was only meant for specifically some issues with older ROMs and changing files by hand and them getting the perms out of whack [not saying it definitely wont help as running that has helped me in some odd situations]. I find wiping cache and dalvick cache can help moreso in this area [and do not remove any apps or data and may be worth a shot before you re-flash].


Sorry I had to take a break folks with graduations and all happening recently I was tied up all weekend. I am back and should be releasing a maintenance version this afternoon for newer ROM Manager and base CM version upgrade and then again tonight or tomorrow I should have another upgrade to include all the other apps in the ROM upgraded to newest versions as well.

I did little bit more researching. The camera problem exist in CM7 n100, it been fix in n106. I will just wait new ROM for us. I could wait, camera function is not impotent for me at all.

I have removed Root Call Blocker due to them going to a pay model where the free version gets to only use 1 number in any list, period.

Does this ROM have support for Exchange/Corporate mail & calendar integration? The last non-Blur ROM I tried didn't have that, and I rely on my CliqXT for calendar reminders.

It is based on Android 2.3.4 so yes it should. go in to accounts and sync in order to setup your account. Also, the K-9 mail client I have in this ROM is MUCH better at handling WebDAV email accounts so that should be a bonus for you.

It does also have VPN support and SIP [internet calling], so it should be good to go for all your enterprise needs.

I have not HEAVILY tested the Flash support with Cliq XT [in the works]. I can tell you the following

With the default browser in AmbrosialCM7 [Skyfire] you are definitely able to view Flash Video from You Tube and other sites [Hulu will still deny you], and some others may as well if they force you to have the utmost newest version or they don't like mobile browsers.

It does not seem to allow you to use interactive Flash apps [it plays them like a flash video so you see them you just can't click anything or fill-in forms

Skyfire complains you should get their video toolbar deal [I did] it's only bout $2.99 [USD] and it does not "unlock" Flash Video. What it does is enable Skyfire's proprietary Flash Video compression function so Flash Videos are optimized for a cellphone screen and to save you bandwidth. Again you are NOT FORCED TO BUY THE $3 VIDEO DEAL IN SKYFIRE TO PLAY FLASH VIDEOS ONLY TO OPTIMIZE THEM.

I am about to test the NetFlix functionality as I do have Netflix account and will report back hopefully in just a bit or by tonight sometime.

Why Thank you, I figure in life it ain't worth sweating the details or letting things keep you upset.
