    Adlx did release SuperOCR-2.2 at #242, but no Asian Edition.

    True, but it is not an official release. It is only for demonstration, test and debug; not supported for general use. If adlx decides to pursue it further (doubtful), the OP will be updated. Everyone is welcome to test and comment on his beta 2.2, but if you need a stable rom with Chinese, see the OP.

    I know that.What is the meaning of "OP"??? Today(China time) Adlx port a new SuperOSR ROM,anyone knows whether the ROM contain Chinese?
    Here is the link:Goo-inside.me Downloads - Downloading SuperOSR-zeppelin-2.2-20120219-1651.zip
    I wish Adlx can add Chinese support .Now few people build ROM for CLIQXT. ICS seams hopeless……………………………………

    @liusir
    This .zip file is slightly larger than the 0131 file. I'll check it out. (Sorry about that OP thing - um, "pardon my English".)

    OK, under Language and keyboard settings > Keyboard settings, there is a submenu in Chinese, but I can't read it. idk (I don't know) if this is enough to be usable; under > Select Language there are only Western European available - no Nordic, Baltic or Cyrillic. (Or Polynesian or Afrikaans or Navajo...)

    Please understand this is still a WIP (work-in-progress) and may never be released, although adlx appears to be working on it atm ('at the moment' = 'now'). Perhaps it is just a consolidation into one rom version, since it is still Android version 2.3.7. It appears to be just as smooth as stable as his 2.1, but I don't have a SIM in it, so I can not address any call process issues. When he decides it is "ready for prime-time" he will update the OP.

    @adlx [Update: bug report]
    On boot, "Status Bar app (process com.android.systemui) has stopped unexpectedly." (Force closed - no Status Bar, of course.) Odd - SB appeared after sending report.
    Camera key => green screen, keys unresponsive. (adb reboot/pull battery required)

    Reporting user experience

    I installed SuperOSR 2.1.1 on december 30, coming from the stock ROM and have been using it since. I simply love it, the difference from the stock rom with android 1.5 and SuperORS with 2.3.7, it was like buying a new,faster and better phone. And plus, you can now install all those apps you couldn't with 1.5.

    But it isn't perfect yet. I have encountered with some issues, that I think I know why it happens but I'm not really sure.

    Call issues
    As far as I have noticed, problems with calls are rare. I have only experience it 2 or 3 times. Last time being a couple of days ago, in which i called someone, the call was answered and I was: "Hello? Hello?" but there was silence. Later my friend said he could hear me and all, but I didn't. I'm using an app called Sanity that triggers during calls, not sure if it may have to do with it.

    Phone crash/freeze/random reboot issues
    This has happened a lot, and i think I know why it happens. I never changed the cpu settings. At first i had installed lots of apps which are always active without being used, run at startup, push notifications, widgets consuming memory without being active, always running services, etc. So the phone was running very slow. Also moved many apps to SD, lots. It started crashing after I installed GO launcher EX (which uses high amounts of RAM: 18MB says on the phone running services, and home manager shows a different memory usage ( I don't know why they are different) of 52,000KB and average of 40,000KB.

    After the first Freeze, I had to remove the battery as nothing was responding. Reboot ok, loading home launcher force close, so long press home button, loaded home again and after a little while freeze. Every single time. Then removed SIM card, which gave me more time before it freezed. Managed to change the home launcher to Launcher Pro (which was already installed) and it didn't freeze after. After a day or two i re-inserted the sim card, and there was no problem. Then I removed apps from SD, uninstalled a couple of unused apps, and it was better. But the freezing still happened after a day or after some hours. I kept cleaning the phone of unused apps and always running services and the freezes where less common. Some times it randomly rebooted while i was not using it, and when it was loading the home screen, after some seconds it freeze, not completing the load. I assume it has to load to much things? But I'm not sure, I have removed many apps from SD and unused/unnecessary apps. Removing the SIM card was wroked the first time, but after it wasn't solving anything, so I started removing the SD which worked perfectly. As not having the SD, the phone didn't have to load apps there, going pretty fast. After it booted and everything, i re-insert the SD and everything OK. Sometimes after i have used apps like facebook installed on the SD which run services all the time consuming RAM, it randomly rebooted after a long while. Else it keeps going smooth and no reboots. I have re-used GO Launcher sometimes, and I can confirm it causes the phone to freeze or random reboot. It's too heavy for this phone it seems. You can use GO Launcher, as long as you have very few apps or very low RAM consuming apart from GO.

    tl;dr
    I think this problem is due to memory use and other factors of performance. Solution is, only install apps you need, check the apps that run at startup and deactivate them, check apps wich are always running services when you are not using them or after you even close them, etc.

    Camera app
    It is annoying the image preview delay is 5 seconds. You have to wait 5 seconds to take another picture after you take one. That's too long. Is there a way to change this?

    This is the first ROM i have installed and I find it very good, I'm very happy with it.

    Yeah, as you have found out yourself, moving apps to SD is a major performance killer with any phone, even if it's a really fast SD card. I can only recommend everyone to avoid it wherever possible, if you run low on internal space you may want to consider moving some apps to the system partition, usually there's plenty of space left on it which just sits there unused.

    Sorry guys, I lost my whole build environment, so I had to setup things again. Here goes an updated build:

    Goo-inside.me Downloads - Downloading SuperOSR-zeppelin-2.2-20120222-2322.zip

    It includes Chinese, RU and Kr languages (no more separate builds)

    Also, people that installed the previous build and updated the Goo App from the Market should receive an update notification

    It's not that I'm actively deving for the CliqXT but I thought I'd build an updated 2.3.7 rom, using all the latest SuperTeam and CM7 code.

    Also, I forgot to mention something else that does not bother me, but I find it weird. Here a couple of screenshots:

    snap20120221_215549_note.pngsnap20120221_215705_note.png

    Ok, so in the picture of the black and white spiral, it only happens if I put the clock widget in that position. If I move the widget somewhere else, the white lines disappear.

    In the picture of the girl it doesn't matter if I move the position of the widget on the screen. The white lines appear in that little picture in the widget. I'll see if I can make a screencast to record it so it's behavior can be appreciated.

    I have not changed the performance settings. They are as when the ROM installed. Using SuperOSR 2.1.1 .
