hey, my name is ricky, i bought my rokr e6 from india, ive been using it for a while now. i love this phone, everything works on this phone but one thing, that is the internet, im currently with rogers wireless in canada ontario. everytime i click on the application "google search" or any other internet application, error pops up saying " network error". Can someone please help me with this?
So i want to tell you one thing riki that the handset you have bought in india has websessions of indian mobile networks
To get the websessions for Yours rogers network u can go to moto store and get your firmware changed to canada's with the websessions of rogers without violating ur phones warranty
Or u can search that firmware on the internet ( if u r lucky u will find) and flash ur phone with RSDlite.
thanks alot kunal, but one thing, can i go to my local rogers store and let them change the firmware to canadian. i know what ur talking about now by firmware, because when i try to connect on the internet it gives me alot of indian networks. can you explain step by step what i have to do and where i can get the tool to do it, i am so confused still. sorry

okay kunal, i read that link you sent me, im still having trouble flashing my phone, i downloaded RSDLITE 4.2 already i have it, i know how to put the phone is flash mode. but i dont know what to do next. i mean im still so confused, ive never done anything like this before. i need to pick a firmware first. i have indian firmware on it now. i want canadian firmware. where can i find that. i tried googling it, i still cant, uuhhmm cant i just flash my phone with that hybrid firmware? its a monster package...?? or can i take my phone to my local rogers store?????????
well if local rogers store are providing you the websessions of their network on ur motorola phone then its great go and get it and want to tell you one thing
well in europe E6 has not been launched as i searched the canada's hellomoto website where they are providing upgrape for software for rogers but not for E6
hey kunal, all i had to do is just call rogers, wait on the phone for like an hour, i told them i cant connect to internet, she transfered the phone over to the technicical support. the person on the phone asked me for my email, he emailed me the GPRS settings, and i put them in and it works now. so i didnt even have to change the firmware or flash the phone. i just changed the GPRS settings. haha, thanks alot though
so whats for the technical support is getting paid, for helping customers but motorola too provides this service at the link i gave u in the above post
I have flashed with MP named R4513_SAMAEL_ACR_RB_ENG,but it created a huge problem to flash it,but after getting it flashed whenever I open my SLVR L7's default web browser,phone gets Restarted
I am unable to use internet on my SLVR L7
Can someone PLZ help me?
