Alright I have put up a small e6 guides section. We will add more guides as they are posted.

Yeah.. But i also said that I dont take credit for the guides, that I found them.. I coulda put em in my own words and called it my own but I didnt :-P

But that seems to be what happens now so I dont give credit to the person I got it from unless im absolutely sure that is the pertson that created it..

But guides for These are still needed

1) Enable GPS
2) Enable VoiceDial
3) Skin/Theme and Program Installation

Hello everyone..
I'm new here, and this is my first Moto ever... I used to use Nokia before and I used to love it; it's now that I'm discovering the things that I've been missing all along..

Anyway, like I said, I'm quite new, so could you please explain some stuff to me? Like, for instance, what is SEEM edit and what's its purpose?

There seems to be a missing link on the Telnet guide, either that or I'm misreading something. Its the one to the guide to installing apps on the E6.

"Make sure your phone is not plugged into your computer yet. First, set your phone to Modem mode (Setup>USB Mode>Modem). Then, in your apps, click on USBNet. If you don't have it installed, you can find it here, and here is a guide on installing apps into your E6."

The link to USBNet works but the other one doesn't. I'm too new to be so rude as to PM a mod.

Sorry, it was just what I was looking for

Hi.. I was trying to use the telnet today.. I Installed USBnet and opened the tnlg file using USBnet as instructed..

The computer beeped saying new hardware detected, and I clicked on "Install Automatically (recommended)"...
After that my computer says "cannot find the drivers" and the driver installation stops.

Someone please help..

I had that problem too. I believe it's because my USB isn't 2.0 but I could be wrong... Anyone?

I finally got it working.. It seems like you have to install the USB modem drivers from MotoDEV first...
