Connecting ROKR to PC for a MacHead.

Ok, so as the title states, I am a Mac user. When I hook up my ROKR to the Mac I get a cute little USB Storage device icon and I can load all my pics, music and whatever else I want to load onto it. However getting to the meat and potatoes of the .system files and such on the SD card and the like is not easy on a Mac with this phone. So I noted that many of you are able to get the root files to come up under a PC. How do I do it? I have WinXP on my intel Mac, and I connect the phone and I "hear" the USB device ping acknowledge my plugin, but I can't see E: or the phone anywhere? Do I need the Phone tools CD to do this? (gawd, I hope not) Please help. TIA for all your Ideas.

By the way...the ROKR in question is the newest E6.

I'm on an MBP and getting mine tomorrow or Wed, will have much OS X info for you then.

You have to have the Motorola Tools Cd to do this task. Doh! I knew I should've just spent the $30 instead of worrying about the shipping cost of my E6. Thats what I get for trying to save a buck!

Why'd you need MPT to connect to the Mac?

naw. It was for the Paralells side It'd be nice to get the E6 visible under Paralells. If anything, just to have another option available!

Ah, I see. Was gonna say, thought you had it going just fine with Finder.
