    Hello Everyone,

    Scared of doing the seem edits to enable EDGE or Quadband? Are you intimidated with Radiocomm? Well i came up with an easy solution, I created a script that does both in less then 2 seconds.

    I believe this will help many people.

    Instructions :

    Step 1 : Unrar the attached file using winrar or 7-zip. You will get the following file "Quadband & EDGE Script by Alpha."

    Step 2: Launch Radiocomm and wait for the green light.

    Step 3: Click on Step Up buttons ( Shown in the Picture)

    Step 4: Locate the Script you extracted, type in a label like i did in the example below, make sure the script type is motorola p2k commands, and then click"SET" After that click the X on that window.

    Step 5: Click on the button you labeled and then it should take no longer then 1-3 seconds and your done!

    Step 6: Enjoy having Quadband and EDGE!

    Picture for Step 3.

    Picture for Step 4.

    Pictures for Steps 5 and 6.

    Good Luck Everyone!

    **Also i will be adding this as a reference point to my stickies i am making. Its a preview of what guides from me will look like.**

    Great stuff. I was wondering why my ROKR was getting such bad reception, and then it hit me like a ton of bricks- I forgot to enable quad band!

    Crap. Alright, so, I'm a RadioComm noob. I'm getting this error-

    "Sending 'RDELEM' command with data '0032000100000200' to the radio...
    Sent to radio:
    TC Send Header: 0000002000080000
    TC Send Data: 0032000100000200

    Returned from radio:
    TC Receive Header:
    TC Receive Data:

    RDELEM ==>FAILED
    Driver answer ==> -999
    Time to execute command: 0 seconds.
    Command timeout set to : 15 seconds."

    RadioComm is in 3G or 3GSM mode (same error on either), and my USB driver is set to GNPO USB Driver. I haven't changed anything else. What am I missing?

    Donado,

    Your RadioComm must be in GSM and USB shall be M-Link USB mode.
    Before you run a script, please make sure that the green light is on.

    Cheers,

    Alright, so, Radiocomm (v11.1.0) is now in GSM mode, on the M-Link USB driver. I've tried my phone in USB mass storage and USB modem mode, and the radio light still won't go green. It is communicating fine over USB, since Phonetools can access everything on the phone.

    The M-Link driver says "Motorola USB Device not found." I've tried two different USB cables and USB ports.

    Any other ideas?

    No idea. Get latest drivers if it can't connect to the phone, that could help.

    I want to know does this really makes Rokr EDGE enabled or just it displays E instead of G. is the change real or just superficial?
