Hey y'all i finally got it to work tried it today and it worked fine got it to turn green by just plugging it in and then wait about 10 sec....install alll the drivers and then worked updated and working fine...thanks yall...my solution..continuous restart of computer!!!!
had vista...change your compatability to work with windows server 2003 and you good to goo!!!
Hey. I have an A1200 and I just did the EDGE change tonite but I'm having the same problem as "riceboidavid" the internet didnt work before and still won't. this has been a long fought battle with this phone I sat on a friends phone for almost an 2 hours with a girl from at&t we tried every configuration she gave me the passwords every thing straight from her computer to my phone but still no internet. ringht now im using a Blackberry but i know my ming has the potential to blow it away....plz help!!

This firmware is really good...
But, I have one problem.. My GPRS is not working properly.. By default, the sign shows E..When it shows G, my gprs works properly.. but the moment it turns to E, my browserstops loading page...It gets connected to server, but does not load page... So, I have enable and disable it again and again and wait for G sign to come....
So, can anyone tell me how to remove E sign, as I have not activated EDGE.. So, its not necessary...So, Please help me to remove E and put G instead of that....
PLZ help me...
