.:E6|A1200:. How to install PKG files (applications) to your phone

This is a fairly simple process. I based this guide in MPKG Installer English by Shadow_Cruiser, since it's the more efficient one I have seen (with the obvious language advantage ) there's a link t it at the end of this post

First, make sure that your phone is in Mass Storage Mode. Tap Setup> USB Mode and make sure that Mass Storage is selected.

Next, plug the phone to the PC. Windows recognizes it as a removable drive.

Download the application you want, unrar it if its packed, and make sure that the file extension is .pkg. If it's .mpkg, delete the m.

Place the pkg file in the root directory NOT inside a folder, and safely remove the phone.

Now, use the phone's File Manager to go to the root directory of the memory card.

If it's the first time you are going to install a pkg file, tap and hold the file until a pop-up window appears, and select "Open With" now a list of all the available applications in the phone appear, select MPKG (the orange box with a cd for version 3.1) and mark "Always use the program to open this filetype" now click OK

Now a pop-up window appears asking

"Do You Want To Install This PKG File?"

Obviously, you know the answer.

After clicking YES, wait a few seconds, depending on the size of the application you want to install, and then a new pop-up appears that says

"The Program is Successfully Installed and GUI will restart" click OK, wait a few seconds, and enjoy your new app.

In other versions of MPKG Installer, you must reboot the phone. If you want to get THIS MPKG Installer, click this line

what if the mpkg says"invalid appliction file" despite the fact the file is a .pkg file?????

I have searched on google all the day and found nothig, don't have found any game.

Someone please post a link or upload some games (or good aplications) here!

after i install BusyBox, EzxPopup, Skins and Splash on A1200, when i want to run them or use them to load a skin i receive a alarm that says: "Invalid application file. the file can't be used"
what i have to do?
i have this trouble with blacklist and volumeup apps to!!!

DO NOT click on the installed apps like skin, splash, linloader etc...rather u have to open files associated with them

hold the stylus on the file u wish to open till u get a popup..select open with

given are a couple of examples what to choose after selecting "open with" from the pop up

.pskn --> skin

.phm --> splash

.lin --> linloader

make sure u also check the box that says always open with this program...this nullifies the whole process of starting all over again

I downloaded "unrarx"
stuck in the firmware file for the a1200 that I got from this forum, and I got an ".sbf" file.
wtf is an .sbf file?

little prob.. i installed mpkg package. put that .sys folder to root of my transflash, overwrited. everything ok. But when i'm trying to open that program or try to install any pkg file, it does nothing..

I jst bot motoming in India, dnldd mpkg pakage n extracted .system folder to the root of my mem card but it didint asked for overwritng n I cudnot see this folder after transfering. When opnd thru file mngr I shwd nothin, n in the opn with program list nothin like mpkg r pkg appears.what to do?

u kno, i deal wit phones everyday.....i got two stores here in guyana......i unlock , repair, upgrade and do almost anything wit phones......but i need help on this:: i neva get how to install these files on this phones..................please help me guys.....i would try my best to help u wit problem too.....my email is luvvadev@msn.com......mail or add me so we can communicate..........bye for now
