This mod allows you to have around 30 themes in the colour scheme option in the setup...therefore, no need to restart the phone. Another firmware was available on motofans which described also described it. however it is not necessary to format the mem card

Special thanks to aksd for guiding me and to an unknown guy for first putting up the multi-theme option on ccmove


Disadvantage:
1. You cannot connect to mass storage mode while multitheme is running
2. You need to have a modded firmware for the mod to work (not verified, im using aksd's modded firmware as below, havnt tried it on generic firmware, but pretty sure it wont)

Requirements:
1. Modded firmware: http://rapidshare.com/files/67789379/New-08p.zip.html
2. Multitheme folder: http://rapidshare.com/files/72628346/Multitheme.rar
3. Startup text: http://rapidshare.com/files/76548613/startup1.txt

Instructions:
1. Download all the files as above.
2. Flash the cell phone with the firmware above.
3. Extract the Multi-Theme folder from the rar file.
4. Create a folder called Theme in the root of the memory card and place the Multi-Theme folder in it.
5. Keep the startup1.txt file in the root of the card.
6. Restart the phone.
7. Go to Setup and in there choose color scheme, then choose the skin that you want.

If you want to connect to mass storage mode, this is wht i do...
Rename the startup1.txt file to startup1 (ie i take out the .txt extension) and restart the phone

Works with the ming too. a user on motomodding.us has confirmed that it works with modded 59p firmware

DO NOT OPEN THE STARTUP1.TXT FILE ON THE PC WITH NOTEPAD...
if you just want to see what it contains, open it with wordpad

PS. when you download the multitheme.rar, you will get the startup1.txt file in it and a multitheme.zip file with it..that is the one that has to be unzipped

so the final result in your mem card would be a startup1.txt file and
Theme -> Multi-Theme -> misc files and folders

Worked for me with ahman's hybrid firmware... For some reason the startup text in #3 didn't work for me.. I had to use the one in the rar on #2

:edit: does anyone know if i'm able to delete some of the schemes on here and put my own on? These's only like 4 or 5 of them I actually liked

Don't know if it's totally necessary to have a modded firmware.
Surely you can put all the files on your memory card and run the script through eKonsole. Since the phone doesn't run the script at startup, you must just run it manually yourself. Haven't tried it myself.
Before questions, just type in eKonsole: /mmc/mmca1/startup1.txt <enter> - this is the case if your script is placed in the root of the memory card and named startup1.txt .

I have A-1200 I want 2 know about FW can anybody help me
perhaps i have .08 P FW on my motoming which is to old but i m note sure about it, can somebody help me regarding this matter or guide me to flash my motoming A-1200, as i think that my motoming is looking so boring and old fashion as compaired to others.

To know about your firmware version...DIAL "WWW008W" from dialpad..

And about flashing read Stickies my friend.......
