Memory Card trouble

hello every1, i just bought an e6 but im having some trouble with it..
once i put the memory card it does recognize it, but i am unable to access it anywhere in the phone :S

any ideas?

u have not inserted it properly
try again taking it out and then putting in properly

note- when u take out ur card from the phone
1stly eject it from the menu and then take it out

I have tried that but when i go to the statuss bar in the memory card section, it says unavailable...

BTW its a 512mb microsd with an adapter and i already formatted it to FAT16
