Sense theme for ProyectAOSP/Arc-Zeam-AOSP/CM7 and other 2.3.4
This may work on other ROM's if anyone feels like testing & giving a report. If attempting on one of the other 2.3.4 ROM's, double check that your rom is Deodx! You may have duplicate app's, one method to removing those has been added near the both of this post.
Any questions or problems, please post those issues here so they can be resolved & the shared with others using this theme.
Tested with ClockWorkMod
Ok here are the features:
Jumpgate Boot animation
HandlerExploit.Launcher_Reloaded with built in theme - home launcher https://market.android.com/details?i...reloaded&hl=en
File Expert - is an android file manager http://www.appbrain.com/app/file-expert/xcxin.filexpert
Link2SD - Allows apps movement from & to SD card http://www.appbrain.com/app/link2sd/com.buak.Link2SD
Wireless_Tether_2_0_7 - allows other devices to connect to the internet via the CliqXT (dependent on your kernel support) http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/In...er-76020.shtml
Ubuntu Fonts - Fonts
Framework-res themed for Sense icons with a few additions that I find cosmetic pleasing.
Default Wallpaper switched to blue Sense default Wallpaper.
Battery MOD % for increments of 1's.
Screenshots below.

signed_Sense-XT.zip

What to do with signed_Sense-XT.zip file
Flash your downloaded file in recovery:
1. reboot into recovery.
2. Wipe Cache
3. Wipe data/Factory reset
4. choose "install zip from sdcard"
5. choose "choose zip from sdcard"
6. locate your file signed_Sense-XT.zip in SD
7. confirm "YES - install signed_Sense-XT.zip"
8. wait for script to finish
9. reboot phone
10. Choose HELauncher
To finish the Theme, select the four squares button>Customize>Scroll to "Sense" now "apply".
(it is possible to apply the signed_Sense-XT.zip without wiping, I would recommend to avoid problems to Wipe Cache & Wipe Data/Factory)
If you have duplicate app's (Programs) you need or choose to remove. I would suggest grabbing Titanium Backup in the market. Then removing any extra programs or duplicate app's. One suggestion do a backup, just in case the wrong app is removed or you decide to return to stock app's. Other methods exist at removing apps, like adb shell which has been covered on many of the forums & well documented at http://developer.android.com/guide/d...tools/adb.html.
Also be forewarned you great increase your risk of bricking or damaging your phone. Use at your own risk, read, research & make your own decisions. Happy Testing.Last edited by rfunderburk; 08-21-2011 at 04:12 PM. Reason: Dup's

I've been busy working on a different project. But do have a few ideas & additions that I hope to get around to one day next week. Plus I will be expanding the theme to work with the other 2.3 ROM's here

aosp xt it was built form cyanogen mod source, i think until the framework file components still the same it should work whit all 2.3.3 > 2.3.4 and at some nightlies that was built. rmember that they come from the same source(they have all the same files only change the builder and tweaks)
one question, this was built whit uot.kitchen online for theming?Last edited by blackwing182; 07-22-2011 at 11:09 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Nahh. Even though its is all 2.3.3, .2.3.4, CyanogenMod does a lotof changes to framework and systemui, which makes the theme dull. Up to now, it works with ALL ProyectAOSP versions.

Dude. This theme is sweet. I'd almost be willing to suggest that you make it the default on your current aospxt build. I rarely have anything to say about someone else's cosmetic tastes but this is worth saying. Well done.

forgive my newbieness here. I'm on day one with Android, and I started with this ROM. I love it, and I'm just kind of playing with it and seeing what more I can do with it.
I like how ths theme looks, and I'm not super sure how to install it. I mean, I rooted it, installed a custom recovery (jjrod's or something like that?) and installed the Proyectaosp ROM myself. So it's not like I'm entirely in the dark here. I just want to confirm somethings before my phone becomes a paperwight.
This is the line that scares me
I never backed up the stock phone at all, so Im worried that "factory reset" might brick it, since i never saved anything from the factory. I know i should have, but in the excitement of the new phone and getting started with Android, I totally forgot to. So will doing a factory reset eff my phone?3. Wipe data/Factory reset
Thank y'all!

feetofmud: You have multiple partitions mounts on the device... ie: system, data, sdcard, recovery, cache, boot. "Data" is where your user data and program settings is stored. Wiping it simply gets rid of your personalized data and basically resets the device to base settings. You're fine to wipe data from recovery, but you'll need to set everything back up. Also wipe cache, and it will be rebuilt again when you boot. You can also clear data from Settings > Privacy settings > Factory data reset.

ok got ya. so to use like a linux analogy, i'm just wiping my /home, and not my / . makes sense.
all the extra themes seem to have a warning about bricking. is this common, or is this just a 'cover your *ss sort of thing?
- 08-18-2011, 06:39 PM #15
Bricking is making your phone stuck at loading. Rfruberfurk, you haveto your script to remove the stock apps that are replaced, with how the theme its now, users will have two music apps.
