Hello does anyone happen to have the links for the roms on the first page of this thread? when i click on any of them it redirects me to a page that says "
We are sorry, but the downloads section is closed for maintenance. Please come back this late afternoon (Monday, EST)." but this has been the case for several weeks now. thank you for any help. Im a trying to either unroot the phone or install a 1.5 rom which i cannot find a download link for vanilla 1.2.3 aswell

Most stock files can not be downgraded to an earlier one, and flashing the wrong radios will make 3G unusable. Also, what is the firmware currently on the phone?

Thank you for your response. The ROM that i currently have installed is ProyectAOSP ROM 2.3.4 but my mom does not like this rom. So i will like to either UN root the phone back to OEM or just install a ROM that is similar to OEM since she understands that OS better. Also its T mobile U.S. Thank you

You will need to flash zeppelin_viper_0_0_27_P3_supermonster-customer.sbf (Google it) with RSD Lite to get the original 1.5 back on the phone (and locked to T-Mobile again). You might want to try [Rom] SuperOSR 2.1.1 for Motorola CliqXT (Android 2.3.7) first, but maybe Mom wouldn't appreciate SuperBabe as her wallpaper as much as I do.

Thank Saurus i just installed [Rom] SuperOSR 2.1.1 this morning i came across it, its running nice. For back ground wallpaper i put a favorite picture of her's lol Tomorrow i will give her the phone back, so if she does not like that one then i will Google Zepplin viper Thank you very much for responding back.

Some of the CliqXT and Motus/BF firmwares are there, but little else. No descriptions either, so be sure you know it's what you need.

Good day. I cant download the firmware on the first page .196 operator Tim. I'm in Brazil, and I have two motorola Quench, I'm having trouble doing root. My last hope is to get this file to install RSD.

I bought a 4G Atrix, for me, Quench and two, one for my wife and another for my daughter. My Atrix by Turl CM9 with this, and when I pick one of these Quench with android 1.5, I'm crazy.

You can also install CM7 on the Quench, it was developed also by Turl ;-), that was his first Android project AFAIK, very successful!

When I tried to download from that link, it refused, "insufficient permission".
But when I started here, it downloaded just fine:
Software para celular - Motorola Industrial Ltda. Brasil
Just select "Atualizar Meu Software", then "TIM","Quench" on the next page.
When you check "Li a Etapa 3 sobre mídia de terceiros" it should allow you to download.
I assume you have the drivers already, but they are available on that first page.

I suppose the least painful way to root the Quench is with mastermind278's method -
[How TO] Simple Root and Custom Recovery Installation and Install ROM- WINDOWS
He basically automated Skrilax_CZ's instructions ([ROOT] Cliq XT) with a couple of scripts.
'adb shell' from the command line becomes a terminal window; I don't think ConnectBot is necessary. (I could be wrong.)
As for CM7, adlx is just being polite. Go with SuperOSR.

Yes, I tried this method, but in step 11 I get the message: not found! I can not move forward. I tried Unlock Root, Instant Root, Root Z4 and nothing. Sera that the problem is me?

Please do not think that and lack of commitment on my part. I've been searching for over five months without success. It seems that Brazilians who have, or have left or do not want to share their success.

I see. I opened the .exe I downloaded, and it doesn't have the .zip or .sbf you need. I'll look around and let you know if I turn up something.

It looks like GrupoAndroid has it, but their site seems to be down for some reason, atm.
