Yakk DID IT!!

Yakk do unlock phones for CLIQ and CLIQ XT! This fix error "Network Unlock Request Unsuccessful" yeah!!!

ok, try to translate.
If you want, you can unlock phone, not only fix error "Network Unlock Request Unsuccessful"

For successful unlock all you need is rooted cliq or cliq xt with terminal.

Method:

1. download files "cliq unlock.rar" or "cliq xt unlock", unzip(unrar) it, copy file "memdump.ko" in root of the SD card. Mount sd card in android.

1. getting root priveleges in terminal, exec following command

   # insmod /sdcard/memdump.ko

   If are any errors, check all you did is correct.

1. go to dialer, input #073887*
   after that input any 8 digits, tap Unlock

Can you post which ROM/Version you were using while trying to unlock?

Doesn't seem to work with Android 2.1 Versions on the CliqXT. When I try the CliqXT version I get the following error:
# insmod /sdcard/memdump.ko
insmod /sdcard/memdump.ko
insmod: init_module '/sdcard/memdump.ko' failed (Exec format error)

When I try the Cliq Version (which if I read the Russian Forum correctly) it was used on Android 2.1 it just causes the phone to restart.
When I then type the #073887* I get the UNLOCK screen and enter 8 digits and get unsuccessful.

BTW: If you are using a ROM that completely removed BLUR you will not be able to get anything after #073887*

read carefully: ANY 8 digits! You can input 12345678 or 87654321 or 88888888 or what do you want.
