Wi-Fi problem please help...
Dear Moto-CLIQ users
I got my moto from T-Mobile my friend sends me from USA as an gift and then I put my card which is not T-Mobile and saw the phone asks for code. My friend call them they give the code after we gave them IMEI number so I entered code and it unlocked successfuly.
At morning I came to my office and I have wireless routher Linksys I tryed to conect and after I turned on wifi it didn't bring me about available wi-fi network notification so I push menu then scan and scanning just shows-up nearly 1sec and disappeared. I tryed add network I fill all important fields and then save after that it says not in range.
So now I am really confused why it's not working please if someone have experience with CLIQ's wi-fi using share your opinions and ofcourse experience here.

Settings>Wireless Controls>Wifi settings
Make sure that wifi is checked.
Scan and check the list.
I'm guessing you did that, but make sure.

My friend I did what you wrote there but no sucsees it seams it can't find my routher I will try with different routher also but I am not sure that this is from routher.. because when I push menu -> scan it just appears scanning even not 1sec..and disapperes again.. please what else I can do..is there any other program for wi-fi that I can install and use with that?

Are you sure the router is using G?

Mine doesn't scan for very long either. It's pretty instantaneous.

Does it find other routers? Get to a place where some other devices reports finding many more routers and compare to your phone's result. That should tell you if your phone has a problem finding routers or not. Originally Posted by ITMASTER

I did with different routhers different places and my routher is foundable with many oither devices..I just can't understnad how can brand new never opened device wi-fi doesn't work...maybe I can reflash firmware and thats will fix? but I don't know is there any flashable monsterpack for CLIQ so I can use with RSD?

Yes, you can flash either of the two firmwares in our downloads section with RSD Lite. It will probably lock the phone again, but you have the unlock code, right?

Hi Danation yes I have unlock code from T-Mobile thats no problem. But I want to be sure that it's possible to flash that firmwares and want to make sure that somebody already tested them. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for confirmation so I would like to confirm one thing before I begin.
So I need RSD Lite latest version also need moto drivers 4.2.0 and I want to flash 1.1.31 (mine came with 1.1.4 and then I updated to 1.1.31 via OTA update) also if it will lock again T-Mobile my code will unlock back because it's IMEI based and not firmware? Please correct me if I am wrong

I flashed to 1.1.31 and phone still remains unlocked but the wi-fi not working...(( I am very confused how we can identify either is the hardware problem or it's software?

I would imagine that since you changed the software already but you're having the same problem, it's most likely a hardware issue. At least it's been that from my past experiences. If you're doing everything right and nothing's working, I'd suggest doing an exchange...

I also think that way but there is one BIG but ( this is send to me as an birtday gift from USA I am in Armenia Yerevan ...I reallly confused..to send back then my friend will go T-Mobile to change this...to badddd((
