This seems like a lot of work, especially for a person with basic root skills? Won't their be an easier method developed soon, an update.zip, etc.? Or is this are only option for awhile? Either way, I just wanted to thank everyone who worked on this project, you guys made Christmas come early for me!

It is very possible that the initial rooting of a phone will always be like this, but we will most definitely use the update.zip method for subsequent ROM pushes.

Well deserved efforts. A big thank you.
I can't quite follow all of it, but was the following Meiner Einer's SBF-ReCalc in the critical path of rooting Cliq?

it's detecting it but it's not showing the imei and other info. Can't press the start button. I have installed the drivers and set the phone for debugging .
edit: also have the proper version of rsd lite, forgot to mention that.
another edit: uninstalled drivers and same problem so i'm guessing they didn't install correctly.Last edited by LaNsLyDe; 12-23-2009 at 01:06 AM.

Flash not working
Help!!.
just wana say thanks first for the hard work.
but my situation is that when i plugged in my phone to rsd lite and chose the .shx file and clicked start nothing happend my screen just stays on the main menu. It doesn't do anything, but now my usb notification doesn't pop up no more when I plug into laptop, everytime I plug my phone in it just charges, rsd lite can read it still and it shows this:
IMEI: Removed
Technology: UMTS 3G
Software Version: Blur_Version.1.1.31.MB200.T-Mobile.en.US
Flex Version: N/A
Bootloader Version: 1446
DRM Version: N/A
but im just stuck I dont know why rsd lite wont flash the .shx file to my phone and im on system version 1.1.31, firmware version 1.5.
Ive tried uninstalling programs and installed them again. Turned cliq off and back on but no luck. Any Suggestions?
thanx.Last edited by Semseddin; 12-23-2009 at 05:52 AM. Reason: don't post imei for your safety.
