i thought that i had rooted my cliq...but as it turns out i went wronf somewhere

i flashed and everything is good up til there...it seems that at the cmd part i get mixed up with the superuser part.

Can anyone offer some help? Much Thanks for those who do...

Reflash back the CLIQ stock firmware (firmware superthread).

Are there any backup SHX firmware files for the DEXT?

I'm happy to try this rooting mechanism and the accompanying SHX file on my DEXT but I'd like a way to revert just in case!

I had that problem for all yesterday, 4.5.7 was installed but when opened it said 4.5.3 until I right clicked on RSD shortcut/properties/Compatibility/ then check run as administrator.. then when opened again it said 4.5.7 and the rest is root lol
(I also checked run in compatibility mode for XP sp3; I am running Windows 7 64-bit)
Hope this helps someone. Also, no time to read whole thread so hope this isn't a duplicate entry

Try to run the following command from ADB shell:

Code:

cd /sbin

If it throws up a permission denied error, it didn't work. If it just dropped to a new line, it worked.

awesome.... i think it worked anything i should know about root? im trying to dl something from market and it doesn't work is that normal?
