This is really weird. Every time I get adp run through the command prompt, I can see the device, but then when I bring up RDP lite, it shows jack s**t. I haven't updated anything on my phone yet, so I don't think my phone has been "fixed", I've tried running RDP both as admin and regular, went through properties and made sure every user had it running as admin.

Debugging mode has been turned on, but still nothing. Phone has been reboot and has been activated as charge mode only and usb drive, neither is working. Device is in device manager.

Using win 7 Ultimate, 64 bit. Made sure to install 64 bit drivers from original post.

Hello. Have a new backflip. Installed ADP and RSD Lite. Rsd sees the phone, but when I run "adb devices", I get the message "*daemon not running. Starting it now*
*daemon started successfully*

Then the cursor just sits there. Have uninstalled and reinstalled. Thanks in advance.

My apologies. Didn't mean to threadjack. Evidently the MB300 is not supported yet. Motodev won't light up either. From now on I will post in the Backflip forum. Thanks.

There are a lot of factory apps that I do not want....how do I remove those with adb???? My phone is rooted....i just dont know how to remove the apps now...please let me know or send a link to a tut.

I was wondering if someone could give me a little help, Im not getting the add part of the path, I cannot find anyway to add it to me sdk tools, can someone tell me maybe what im doing wrong? Im sure Ive probably already messed up my phone because when I turn it on and try to log into my motoblur it says the clock is wrong but i cannot do anything if I do not get passed my motoblur, anyway to maybe just undo it so I can use my phone again?? I have one that has a brokin screen that Im sending back on insurance, so im using it for now, but id like to be able to use my phone without having to pay them another 150 for another one???

You need to flash a differnt ROM. Can u get into recovery? (Power off turn on by HOLDING camera + power then volume down) if you can do this then all u need to do is dl a new ROM with radio 1.4.8 and flash it.

Thanks so much. I had been stuck on setting up my adb device for about 2 days. I am proud to say that after correctly setting up adb i am now running Handler 1.5. Thanks again!

I'm using this to root my Motorola Dext (Cliq) but before I do so can someone please tell me if this will give me Android 2.1? That's the only reason I'm rooting my phone. If not what will give me Android 2.1?

ADB simply allows you to give commands to the phone from your pc.
ADB = Android Debug Bridge

You will need ADB for the root process and if you would like to use it to do other things with the phones system.
