hmmm try un/reinstalling drivers, or un/replug ur phone (if it still fails, try after a fresh reboot)

also try reformatting ur sdcard and copying everything over anew (backup first) sdcard should be fat32 format

some of this might seem insulting but sometimes the simplest of things r forgotten or overlooked

thanks. i already did that to no avail. in his original guide duxman talked about pushing superuser.apk first. in this guide that step is omitted, could that have anything to do with it?

while ur doing the adb thing, can u see the contents of ur sdcard through ur computer? if u can then u need to change ur phone to charge only and not usb drive mode when connected

many thanks. that is the mistake i was making. read above to see the problem a few other users and i were having with adb not finding the recovery.img file to be flashed

ok i got the flas to go thru i think becuz there was no confirmation but when i go to flash the fone it said no signature the whole verification fail thing and i have tried goin bac to stock 1.3 but its not able to connect to the fone i need help...

ok i got the recovery to work now im trying to the update to work

Ok we all know the new update is officially out. I just rooted my cliq yesterday with this method. How can I update to 1.4.8 ROOTED without bricking my phone? I'm currently on the 1.3.18 ROOTED from this thread.

Step 2 : Load up adb when the computer recognizes it type :

I have windows 7, i downloaded the sdk and doesnt do anything when i connect the cliq to the pc...im stocked in step 1....i desperately need help ,please.... i found how to also do the prompts DOS but nothing happen..Is it windows 7 that is not working with sdk (adb files?)

i recommend you watch a few videos on youtube on how to set up adb. they really helped me out. goodluck

On the very first install post on here.....if i have 1.3.18.....does that mean i only need to copy 2 and 3....and rename 3 to update.zip???

No... you still need to download file one... And you rename file one update.zip, that's the only one you will rename.
