    Rooting Question

Hi, I have a question. I'm trying to get Android 2.1 running on my cliq. I've rooted my phone and downloaded the su-222-signed.zip file and the tmo-morrison-mamba-2.0.Psupermonster-customer.zip file. I ran the su-222-signed.zip file first. It appeared to load fine. Then I ran the tmo zip file. Upon doing this I received

    Install from sdcard...
    Finding update package...
    opening update package...
    Verifying update package...
    E:No signature (1 files)
    E:Verification failed

    Installation aborted.

Any suggestions on where I should go from here? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the rom download was corrupted. Try downloading it again from a different browser like firefox or IE. Ive heard that downloading from other browsers can occasionally corrupt the download and then the zip file wont install.

What it sounds like is that you DownLoaded the Firmware and not a ROM. The Firmwares need to be flashed using RSD and ROM can be flashed using your custom recovery. If you say you rooted then find a custom ROM save it as the zip file it comes in > put on root of sdcard > go into custom recovery > nand backup (up to u) > wipe (both dalvik-cache & data) > flash zip from sdcard > choose the ROM you put on the card and let it boot.
