"Unable to retrieve interface handle" error in RSDLite while flashing 2.1 nonroot
Hey guys, I followed this youtube video YouTube- How To Get MotoBlur 2.1 On An Unrooted Motorola Cliq!exactly word for word and did everything it told me too.
My phone connect's in RSD Lite. (Weird thing is im running 1.4.8 and the video says make sure it says 1.4.8 under software version in rsdlite and mine just says n/a but i know im running 1.4.8 it says so under settings>about phone>software version .... i dunno if this is my problem or what).
So everything appears the same as the youtube video. Except for the 1.4.8 not showing under software version.
So i load the .sbf file for 2.1 and then i click start. It says "processing" under the progress section.
It seems to start fine, but it doesnt even restart the phone into the bootloader mode. It fails and this is what it says:
"Failed Flashing Process.Failed Flashing Process. Unable To Retrieve Interface Handle. (0x7027); Phone Connected"
And then under "result" it says "FAIL".
What happened?? I installed the drivers correctly. I installed RSDLite4.6. I connected my phone, loaded the correct .sbf file and then clicked start. I dont know what else i could have done wrong. Any help would be great. Thanks!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nevermind, I held the Menu + Power-on button to launch the blue bootloader screen. Then I flashed from there and it worked perfectly. 2.1 is so awesome im so excited!!!Last edited by On Sale; 07-31-2010 at 09:56 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Alright, it may have worked for this guy, but I'm still having a problem here. I'm using the RA-cliq-v1.5.2.2 recovery to flash the new 5036 radio and it keeps throwing me the same error the guy above received. Can anyone help me out?
