Google contacts groups not syncing

My Android isnt syncing with contacts groups anymore.

I was using the original ROM from Claro(Brazil) and it was syncing ok.

Since I installed a 2.1 ROM(tried 2 differents already) it only has a "google contacts" group with all the contacts there.

Before (on 1.5) it synced the "my contacts" groups and the friends, family, etc, groups...

If I edit a contact information, it synced without problem, but creating/editing contacts groups doesnt work(on the phone OR on GMail)... I have a group "starred in android" on Android and GMail with different contacts on it.

I installed an app called "groupy" and it shows my contacts groups(including those 2 "starred in android"). So I GUESS its an issue with contacts app ?

Anyone know how to solve this?

Im using a 2.1 ROM with MOTOBlur(Blur_version 2.0.26.MB200.T-Mobile.en.US)

I tried wipe, another ROM, loggin on gmail account before loggin in Motoblur... Nothing works, contacts app doesnt sync with my groups

All other contacts app on market get the groups, only the default one doesnt work.
