    Problems after unlocked the Cliq

    Hi,

My cousin have given me the T-Mobile Motorola Cliq and I have restored it to factory settings and successfully unlocked it to AT&T with a code I have bought online.

    Problem:
-Text messages about '122 Error Invalid Number'.
-Cannot create my MOTOBLUR account because the phone radio is unable to connect to the network.
-Is there a way to use the phone without setting up the motoblur account?

I do not have a data plan. I have tried setting up local Wifi but it would not connect.

    Please help me, thanks.

You can root it and flash adlxmod or a deblurred ROM. The only problem is if you dont log in you cant turn Debugging on. I would suggest trying another Wifi or restarting the Wifi you have and logging in again. .. then root it and flash a deblurred ROM or adlx's ROM.

Still cannot connect to my wifi after changing its security from WPA2 Personal to none at all.

Could there be some technical difficulties with my router?
    -Linksys WRT310N v2
Or do the APN settings have to do with anything?

If someone texts me, I can text them back and same with calls. I just can't get passed that motoblur account screen.

EDIT: I figured out the wifi problem, I had to add the phone's MAC address to the accepted addresses on my router's control panel.
