Question Motorola Cliq not identified by Windows.....please help me...

This is my Story;
Some months ago I found a Motorola Cliq in a restaurant, however, it did not worked so I forgot about. Recently, I wanted to get it working because my old phone is getting...old. Nevertheless, -
1. The phone doesn't turn on
2. When I connect the phone to the wall charger it appear the motorola logo in a white screen.
3. Power button + camera botton Doesn't turn on. so I cannot do a reset.
4. When I connect the phone to the wall charger while pressing MENU I am able to get a blue screen that says "Bootloader USB Init", if then I transfer it to the computer it tell me that the device is "Unknown"
5. I already installed the Motorola Drivers(5.2), RSD Lite 4.5.7, and configured ADB; still, the PC says "Unknown Device"

Does anyone has any advice/instructions? I would really appreciate some help. If I take it to a repair shop would they be able to fix it?

***P.D. I used/tried on two computers, one with Windows 7 and other with XP SP3***
***Please don't tell me "get a new phone", I cannot afford to do so***

Very similar to babykhoai's problem, here - MB200 bricked - Stuck at Logo Boot even done the unbrick guide

May be due to an old/discharged battery - but if not, the "Unknown Device" message is a very bad sign. Repair would probably cost more than another phone. Leave the phone on the charger 24 hours and see if there is any change.

Actually, my phone can be regconized under BOOT USB Init. (Bootloader) .. However , it can't be regconize under Motorola Logo.

I think you should try to install the driver on another PC...

femap Try to borrow a well-charged battery before you buy one - a new one will need to be charged. It is possible that the phone is unable to charge, in which case it would be a waste of time, regardless of cost. I don't have an MB200, but other moto phones show a white "M" screen for several seconds followed by a graphic display showing charging state. (This with phone powered off, then charger plugged in.) I don't know how the firmware handles a defective battery.

Well, the battery does not work, after leaving it charging all night (the phone actually charges the battery if I connect it to the PC) it died only after <5 mins. I have some amazon gift certificates so I'll buy an OEM new battery and see what happens. Thanks for everything, I really appreciate the help.

Alright, I've identified the problem. The mother board is the one causing the problems. If I put it on the freezer, it works again (at least unti it wams up). This makes me believe that something inside the motherboard is causeing a short circuit. Whould reflowing it with a heatgun work? What about cleaning it? Any othe solutions? Pleae help!

I have one just like that. It could be a bad connection which solder reflow might fix. Magnification might reveal a solder bridge which could be opened with a sharp knife. It may also be a single bad transistor (amongst millions). For your heat gun to be effective the RFI shielding would have to be removed. In any case, probably the only reasonable remedy is to replace the MB.

Try putting the motherboard in your oven and heat it to 100 degrees Celsius (210F.)for 10 minutes, raise it to 250C. (400F.) for 5 min., turn off the oven & allow it cool; remove after 20-30 minutes. If it is ruined, you haven't lost much.
