    Help My dext won't turn on

    My Motorola Cliq froze and I turned it off. then when I tried to turn it on this happened.


    as you can see in the 2nd video the screen shows the M logo but the backlight doesn't work and it stays on that screen forever
    I didn't change anything to the phone(hasn't flashed it or rooted)

    Someone please help me

    Have you tried using the sbf to reflash your device?

    I can't do that because the RSD lite 4.9 doesn't detect my phone

    Also I've noticed while I'm pressing the power button the keyboard light turns on

    Did you boot the phone into USB Init mode? (hold down power + menu when booting the phone)

    I did this I don't know if this is the right way (hold down power + menu when connecting the usb cable) and RSD lite didn't found it

    Not while connecting cable. While booting the phone.like phoenixsong6 said...hold down menu button and while holding menu press the power button but continue to hold the menu...iirc the phone should boot into a blue screen.

    when I do that my phone stays off not even the indicator led blinks
    Did it again and the indicator led is on (not flashing) but the screen don't show anything

    I believe the slow flash (first video) indicates the battery has insufficient charge to boot the phone. Phone's charging circuit may have gone out.
