No the update.zip is correct I meant it was corrupted during the download.

    Updated to 1.30.

I'm having a problem trying to load this I have bootloader 90.74 and flashed the vulnerable recovery like was mentioned in the first post and extracted the files to my sd card (1.30) and I tried 1.14 before, when I launch into the stock recovery and try to flash the update.zip this is what I get

    E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command
    -- Install from sdcard...
    Finding update package...
    Opening update package...
    Verifying update package...
E:EOCD marker occurs after start of EOCD
    E:signature verification failed
    Installation aborted.

    What's wrong here? Thanks

I am sorry, but I am not able to download latest files (http://rapidshare.com/files/41361703...rcvr.SHOLS.zip and http://rapidshare.com/files/41378251...30a_to_132.rar). Unfortunately I can not use rapidshare directly. There is SaveFrom.net web which allow to download from rapidshare. Using SaveFrom.net I am able to download v1.30, but for files (v1.30 -> v1.30a) and (v1.30a -> v1.32) I got the "The download link not found" error. Could somebody confirm that above links are working? Thanks.

Hi, I was trying to run this tutorial, but after applying the sdf with RSD the milestone xt701 didnt start again. Ive tried to use other sdf and I also tried to restore it to the factory configuration but it happens the same thing.
Do you have any idea of what can be? and how could I at least use the phone again?

    Thanks!

It's not yet for XT701, we're right now testing it only on the Milestone (XT701 has it's own sbf file).

Version 1.35 released. If no bugs occur, it will be the stable version.

I have a problem. when apply " backup all " respond "There is at least 400MiB on the SDCard. E: Could not mount /sddata properly"

but, when I did the "selected backup" and check all, the backup is done correctly.

    Do you know what happen?

Noted. Forgot that "backup all" enforces all, including nonexistent partitions (which are not sumbitted to the checking of course).

New backup format is used since 1.30. The recovery supports restoring the backups in the old format.
The backups in old format (there is a file "nandroid.md5" file in the folder) go to folder /sdcard/nandroid/adbrecovery/.
The backups in new format (there is a file "*.md5" file for each partition) go to folder /sdcard/nandroid/openrecovery/.
Looks like nandroid restore for backup in old format is not working. I have tried to install MotoFrenzy (Froyo 2.2 for milestone) v0.5a. The recovery said several times that MD5 verification failed (for system, data, cache...). The backup itself is in the folder /sdcard/nandroid/adbrecovery/.

Noted, will provide a fix soon (yaffs2 partition backups in old format are not restoring properly). There is an error in the new nandroid (*.md5 files are empty).

I assume that the XT701 1.36 version otherwise works well.

The 1.37 with fixes in nandroid is released (released both for Milestone and XT701).
