What version of firmware are you using? I tried using thai got 2.36 and i got the install to work, but no service from telus (cell, or data) any info would be awsome.

i did copy the baseband and overwrote it when i installed motofrenzy

I was running the GOT release of 3.11.0 which should be the same as 2.36.0

I'm having similar problems to Afein, but on Rogers, not Telus. I was running Telus 3.10.0, tried the UK 2.36.0, installation completes fine. Everything aside from cellular service (and the camera, natch) works great.

I've gone back to my working, rooted, 2.1, but would like to move to 2.2.

the mistake i was making was that i saved the radio files from my previous setup which was telus 3.10.

to make it work i flashed the thai 2.36 GOT sbf, saved the radio files, updated with motofrenzy, and restored the thai radio files and it worked n/p

but you need to start with a sbf that has the same radio frequencies UK will not work

like others have said once the camera gets sorted out i will be running this all the time, until then it is fun to play with

I cannot seems to use these alternative for keyboard typing with the ROM. I can install it but when it is launch it will give me either FC with Ultra Keyboard or the predictive will not work with Better Keyboard. I was wondering if anyone else out there have the same issue or can point me to the right direction as I really hate the stock Moto keyboard.

Aukamar, I already tried that a while ago, doesnt work...

PS I have released a mod of this FRF91build on Android-Hilfe, which supports all languages and has all the apps and framwork files deodexed - so that you can acutually apply themes etc

Yeah, I realized that the dm-mod module doesnt work some time later. I downloaded your build yesterday, but didnt want to install since I had JUST fully customized this build to my liking ( all my apps, LauncherPro, settings, etc )..

Anyway, I just wanted the black notification bar, and couldnt figure out how to do it. Also, a lot of themes are update.zips and essentially fresh installs. Maybe you could help me a bit with how to install either a theme or the black notification bar while maintaining my install? Besides, even with Google Translate, I have somewhat of a hard time on Android-Hilfe

I was doing the same thing. I basically followed the instructions in this post: [IMAGE][v0.52][13-sep-2010] MotoFrenzy (Froyo 2.2 for milestone)

And after mucking about with non-existent path errors and cannot stat errors, got everything copied over. After adding Rogers' internet.com and media.com APN settings, all is well.

Oh snap, I just noticed... the keyboard backlight doesn't work o.O! I'll PM Thyrus since I'm using his install now ( mine screwed up in the morning, so since I was going to install again, I just decided to install with theming :P )

And since I'm sick and tired of reinstalling all my apps, I'm FINALLY going to run Titanium Backup for both my 2.1 and 2.2 installs.

i already prepared the entire release for FRF91 deodexed - including black status bar the link to my Thyrus Edition is on this page (Android-Hilfe.de)
And I wrote it all in English Which the Germans didnt like, so someone translated
