Well, this apk should help.

Its a signed apk where FULL_ALLOWED_PACKAGES is enabled in getAllowedPackages. I uninstalled the facebook app ( used adb + rm ) and installed this. Works now.

Instructions ( only via ADB )

1.Open command window in apk folder or navigate to there in command prompt
adb shell
su
remount rw
rm /system/app/Facebook.apk
remount ro
exit
exit
adb install <filenameGoesHere>

Thanks man, but I'm really beginning at this modding thing, how am I supposed to do that with adbshell? Do you have some noobprof instructions?

BTW, can't surf in HSDPA, only 3g, and autofocus is not working yet.

I've gone from .1c to .4 and I've noticed an odd problem, maybe it's just me, but videos don't work. I don't mean video recording but just straight m4v playback, aside from youtube (in the browser). Everything else seems ok so far though, and I can't thank you enough.

So how about the 3g? i can only get 3g, no hsdpa, browsing on 3g its impossible.. the only sites that actually loads, are the google search results

If you want to try the theme, copy the zip file into
sdcard/OpenRecovery/updates and then you can apply it from the OpenRecovery menu.

strange, i apply azerty keyboard from Got's OpenRecovery and it stays in qwerty

I had to put the update (look at warning in post 1) to browse in 3G (but i could made gmail setup at first in 3g )

Wifi seems lazy

I instaled the SHLA_U2_03.05.0 and my milestone is booting again, so i tryied install the MotoFrenzy again and the i got the same error.
Exists a version 2.6 of the firmware for retail brazil?

Is there a post where you can LEARN to use adb shell? I'm not getting it yet... just downloaded, but i dont have persmission to do anything

@Aumkar I tried without adb and with it : the old Facebook was deleted but i cannot install the new one .... i just try again after a reboot and it's working (i put it on sdcard) i install it from andexplorer and no error (i've got error before reboot)
That's strange i didn't open it, as some cache or service were used

The sync in notification stays here but no traffic in 3G notification, strange (i test 3G notification by openning the web browser and then it show traffic

Uninstall whatever Facebook version you have ( if you installed the modded version I gave ) ... and get the latest one. It just got a facelift and it syncs with our phones without any workarounds

You just have to type adb shell first.. It'll take you into the command line of the phone. Then, if youre running SU for the first time, you have to unlock the phone to give the computer the necessary privileges and then you can do whatever through adb shell as root.

I deleted the modded version, i try to install the new one : i've got "Installation unsuccessful", i reboot the try again : the same, i try with sdcard unmounted : same error, a little lost ^^

=> i try to delete in "Manage applications" the data for Facebook : same error, then i use the "Uninstall" button, and again try a download/install from Market: everything is ok

No battery issue for me this night (Overclock 250 to 800) but i unchecked data sync (the two first lines)
