please use an invalid domain: ie.
firstname.lastname@modmymobile.email
.email is an invalid domain, so now you can configure it.
Good part for now is that 2.2 seems not to utilize exchange protection policy, so im not required to enter a code when phone is taken off standby :-)

according to some source, froyo will need new kernel to enable these features:
* HIGHMEM support for RAM >256MB
* SDIO scheduling and BT improvements
* Froyo Camera Previews.
* Camera video/sound recording.
see camera there?? (doh)i love my [ razr2 V8 ]

I also wrote this initial review on Android_hilfe,
I will compile my initial feedback in English so the creator, who deserves a HUGE credit can read it without translating
- It works!
- The majority of the features of the NX1 2.2 work. I installed flash etc and I can confirm it works.
- if you use the GOT OR, you can then install buysbox and install the keyboard qwertz fix (FOR HW ONLY keyboard, to change SW keyboard the nx1 image would have to support more languages)
- I have no issues that are not known. i can live wihtout the camera for now
- OC confirmed as working
eybee - that will not work, as the latimime works with the "locale" from the framework-res, which is the orignila frf91 framework, meaning that no support for languages other than english/spanish
BENEFIT: the image appears, with the exception of the kernel, to be identifal to the NX1., meaning it identifes as NX1 everywhere. It also uses all stock apps from NX1, which is good and bad:
good:
- no setting for crystal talk. to me that means for those with quality issues, the stock android should NOT enable the 2nd microfone!! so that is a "SW" fix, as it doesnt contain the images required to activate the 2nd microfone. Since i never had the issue, i cannot confirm it helping, but I will try to find someone who has these issues and test with him
- good - has all the ringtones etc from the droidx, droid and NX1 installed! whoohoo
bad:
usb issue: i could live without the access to SD card when not having it plugged in at boot, but it also doesnt work with the standard AC adaptor, meaning you cannot simply "plug in" to charge, you need to power cycle
camera- not working and known
@ Dext3r
Do you need help fixing some of the issues - I could give you a couple of apps nobody has yet from the droid2 froyo release. maybe that helps???

Firstly thanks for the good feedback on this image..
next,
the build.prop is the reason.. if i did not include the original N1 information,we could not download FlashPlayer 10 Beta3, so after downloading it , you can simply update the "Nexus One" entries as it suits you, and you got your "name" back here.
Note, overclock module only allows "Milestone" as product name.
if you wish to use the app for diable/enable overclock.
PM me with details on how to get the droid2 image, and ill see what can be done about it. especially if it fixes some issues with this image.

Hi dexter,
got some strange logcat messages for you (that come up frequently and i'm a bit nervous about it). So here we go:
E/Tethering - attempting to remove unknown iface (usb0), ignoring
E/Dalvikvm - could not disable core file generation for pidxxx, errno=1 <- this one i already got with jit on eclair!
E/panic_demon - Couldn't open ACM: /dev/ttyACM0 with error 5, will reboot soon
I think, first message is native tethering of kernel, it's not that bad. Second message (as stated above) i already got with jit on eclair build. Third message is most alarming. This has something to do with USB Tethering, as i read already

milestone-overclock
here is a modified version of milestone-overcock.apk that "supports" Nexus One in the build.prop file. Just rename the file extension to .apk and install as usual
