I was wrong, the problem with 3G dropping is still present, although seems to not be as frequent.

I didn't think it was for me either, as it lasted the whole night, without issue, but then at my office it started doing it again. I do have much less signal strength here, so it may be the whole jumping back and forth thing that is causing the issue.

I'm having the 3g dropping as well. It's dropped off about 3 times for me since installing. This time I have a logger installed so that might be able to give us a little more info.
This also produces an FC on com.android.phone or something. Can't recv sms or phone calls either.

Okay, it happened again. What's the best way for me to get these log files to you(Or anyone else who wants to figure this out)? These logs are 5 seconds long, but thousands of messages generated(appears to be looping).. The phone actually got pretty warm while grabbing the logs before it completely crashed.
I've attached a full 1 full loop, but this repeats over and over. I have more logs.. bigger logs if you need.

so I loaded the new 5a and did the 5b update and then rooted, but when I try and run the milestone overclock it says I need superuser privilege but I've given it privilege, other SU apps work with it but the overclock one keeps saying I need it even tho the message pops up saying it has been granted SU capabilities, how can I fix this anyone?

in this post here
[IMAGE][v0.52][13-sep-2010] MotoFrenzy (Froyo 2.2 for milestone)
Put the overclock.txt(edit to your preferred clock speed) in the root of your SD card, and remove the ".txt" extension. Reboot your phone and it should pick it up by itself.

it is you internet explorer messing up!, .txt is not put in the original file, but correct, remove .txt if used.
i keep having battery drains problem, where it shows +/- 20% left, and i take battery out and startup and i got 60%+ left?
that is some vierd stuff, but confirmed by motoroa to be a stockfirmware bug, but i dont hear anyone else mentioning it?Last edited by dext3r; 08-24-2010 at 11:24 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Thanks that worked perfectly!
Okay so I got everything working the only thing is I notice I'm missing some stuff in the marketplace now, mainly the only one that I care that I'm missing is the Viper SmartStart app thats not showing up now... I've tried using MarketEnabler and I still can't find it, is it because I'm on 2.2 and they haven't updated yet or is there another reason? Is there anyway I could get my girlfriend to download it (an older version of android) and rip the .APK from her phone and install it on mine? If so how would I do that? Thanks again
I've been trying to figure out a way to get it back, I found that the App was backed up in a previous Nandroid backup I did but instead of just saving it as an .APK file it saved it as a .zip
I tried just changing the .zip to .apk and installing and it lets me get most of the way then says install failed... is there another way to get this into an .APK so I can install it?Last edited by kittcoldfire; 08-24-2010 at 01:25 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

So the results seems maybe positive here,
I tested with the Milestone 2 libs i have, and this one gives me avg. 60+ running fps2d..
but as its for testing, i let you report back if you find it helpful, so this is no official patch..
attached is the gralloc.omap3.so from Milestone 2 (EURO) edition..(as update-nosign.zip)
Update script fix!!! sorry!!Last edited by dext3r; 08-24-2010 at 03:07 PM.
