Hello and thank you dext3r for your work. I must say that you've done what i've been trying to make time to do ( but failed )
I'll try to sacrifice some time to see what's with the camera (maybe decipher what old files and libs were in 2.1 and put it together in 2.2 because of our crippled kernel in this matter)

Anyway, i must ask: do you have a paypal or something? I know the meaning of time and i really know that time is money so i just need (and i'm sure i'm not the only one) to donate some to you for your work and time spent.

Nice :-) but currently im not really doing this with the purpose of making money, so if that were the case, i would for sure post the "send me a redbull" like everybody else..

Im just in for the challenge...

If the time sacrifice is too big, i might change, if its worth it, but right now, im just happy people appreciate the work done.

Well I noticed in Settings>Applications>Manage applications that when I click one app, the option "Move to SD card" is grayed out in every one of them.

I read in xda-dev forum that in order to "enable" it you must enter the following in ADB

adb shell
pm setInstallLocation 2

After that, the option "Move to SD card" was enabled, but I get an error every time I try to move an app. Also, many users got it to work but also with random rebooting, or else.

So I guess I'm staying with "unofficial" app2sd and ext partition on my card for now :P

Thanks for the feedback, didnt actually test it here yet, but im sure it can be fixed, if there is a bug.
and the "grayed" out could that relate to 2 things
- Apps need to support Froyo 2.2 (must be set as min. requirement somewhere)
- USB Storage enabled?
PS: I did not "enable" anything, to see the "move to sdcard" on my phone..

When im not working, ill dig into this, as "AQuarium Live wallpaper" also has it enabled, but fails when moving.

so yes, somehow something is wrong, maybe some permissions..

it also seems headset BT does not have Mic enabled, so it works, but ppl cannot hear you.. so yes, not really working well...

Try to use the 3G method of backup and replace radio Files, look to a radio issue to me

thanks, I read the post, to be safer I've changed the whole bp_nvm_default folder, and redone the permission, the cell have a better recepition (still with 1,5 mbit with speedtest, but that's nearly the max I can archieve in my city), but still the "h" doesn't appear altrought I'm in hspa (1,2 mbit upload and 1,5 download)...I don't know...with the original file's rom, the "h" was present...

second in my milestone is impossible to install.... in every mode i've check the phone rest in Motorola Logo's..

i've try to every mode with 2.38, 2.36 2.31 but not results...

is possible upload a nandroid backup with system full functionali????

You deserve a lot as Motorola forgot us so soon...
I suggest you to fix as many thinks you can and then make an updated Nandroid Backup (as v0.1a so we could install it via G.O.T OpenRecovery) with all fixes inside (usb, 3G, bluetooth microphone etc), so we can have a complete view of your ROM to give you feedback...

Apps2SD in Froyo seems not to be a solution.
because here is the first Kernel problem.. device-mapper(dm_mod.ko) is not added to our kernel, so we cannot enable the functionality.

So thats probably a disappointment to some... but unless its possible to compile the dm module, i dont think we can get the native support.
and we probably still have to work with the old solutions.

Just posted the recent 0.1c update, which includes hotfix for Bluetooth headset, so we get Microphone working again.

and added a few other things, read 1st post..

What do you mean applications that can be passed?
I do have the apps, but missing the kernel support for it, so Vold daemon can move the apps to your sdcard.
