we are kind of burnt if motorola decides to not officially update to froyo because we will never have a fully functional froyo based on the old kernel. and, as you all know, we can't modify the kernel.
but i keep hoping that any day now a leak or something shall spark through the webz.

I am pretty happy with this release already

If Camera would work then I am good for the long wait before we get Froyo officialy on our Milestones...
This release really runs smoothly and at 60fps in 2D apps compared to 30 in all 2.1 versions I have seen so far, that's why I kept running 2.0.1 because that one also runs 60fps in 2D mode.

I used LagTesk.apk be sure when you have SetCPU to set it to performance before doing the test.

Thats weird. It switches between 45-50fps after using the performance governor for me at 1Ghz.

Right.. Also, I can't seem to find the interactive governor option in SetCPU.

re-type the command
hi, I have two questions.
1. after I typed "echo interactive > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor" and I reboot the phone. do I need to re-type the command again?
2. Milestone overclock module was unload when I insmod cpufreq_interative.ko into the kernel. when I typed in the above command, do I still need to load Milestone over clock module after that?
thanks,

^ This will help you.
Found the interactive governor. Turns out the lines before the overclock settings in the overclock file had to be removed. Now running 1Ghz at 56vsel. I may try 1100Mhz at 60VSel to see how well that works.
I just downloaded the dm-mod.ko file.
I'll be taking a nandroid backup now and I'll be testing the module. Hopefully it works =/Last edited by Aumkar; 07-28-2010 at 10:07 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
