My personal experience...go with the milestone. i was using a Hero before...got fed up and switched to milestone. better screen real estate...no unnecessary clutter of sense UI which will slow your phone (though its a good eye candy...u wont be using most of the features. Considerable difference in music quality compared to Hero...no idea about legend though. qwerty keyboard for back up if you have to do a lot of messaging and email.

overall..more satisfied with milestone then Hero

I had hero first then taken milestone. fierst few days i was happy with milestone but then it restarted few times. i had a look at legend. i had gone mad & taken legend instead. lost 5000 INR in the process "but I am happy that i have done this"
HTC phone is much refined than what milestone is!!
u cannt type fast on that qwerty keyboard as there is no tectile feedback!!
D pad comes in ur way if u r right handed( most people are).

if i want physical kb then i will go with my touch slide.
