    Use OpenRecovery.

Thanks Semseddin for the signature and avatar.

Or use vulnerable recovery (CG47) and after "SW complete" appear press camera button to enter recovery and flash update.zip with root files. This work for me, yesterdey i recive 2.1 ota from Motorola UK.

Although I'm very technical in Linux, Android is new to me. CG47, "SW complete" and the location of the update.zip are not clear to me.

Can anyone post clear, preferably tested instructions on rooting the just-released UK milestone v2.1 ?

I already have a rooted UK v2.0.1 milestone.

    TIA!
    Boaz.

Vulnerable recovery must be used even with Open Recovery (the update.zip there just changes into Open Recovery, then you can root it from menu).

You can update normally, then root it using Open Recovery (and downgrading back the recovery into vulnerable one)
