Update Motorola Milestone Guidance From 2.2.1 to 2.3.4 or more

My newer phone just died today so I needed to get something cheap until the next generation of phones are out.

I found a Milestone BNIB for that I guy I know had won, so this will do the trick for now.

I really want to get it running 2.3.4 if possible but need some very clear direction..

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

you even may want to use 2.3.7 i suppose
do you like MIUI as i do?
so firstly go to en.miui.com and quickly follow how to flash n root it out.
once the phone is okay to use,,,go to roms.miui.us to reflash it regularly with somtin newer stuff in English coz you won't got yor phone with somekinda chinese characters on it since you'v been gone in that en.miui.com
