Honestly? If I had it, and a paypal, I'd give j_r0dd two hundred dollars for this. Whether it works or not, I had a hella fun time doin' all this. I'm really new to Android modding and had to learn it all in the last two hours. I'm waiting on the 10 minute boot now. I love you guys!
Thanks again, man. Good job. It really makes me feel good to know that, whether or not Motorola forgot about us Backflippers, someone didn't!

Just about have my phone all set back up, just finishing the last few installs. Freaking amazing! Thanks man! Only had one problem so far. Installed Google Voice from the Market but the setup isn't finishing. It's hanging at getting my current voicemail settings:
Was using the newest available version (not the newest on the Market since it didn't work with 1.5) successfully for some time. So my question, from the log above (logcat while GV tries to get settings) is it something with this build or GV itself? And just to be clear, this is NOT bitching.Code:09-23 18:31:49.475 1875 1935 W System.err: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: carrierCode.length() == 0 09-23 18:31:49.475 1875 1935 W System.err: at com.google.android.apps.googl evoice.net.masf.MASFApiRpc.checkParameter(MASFApiRpc.java:74) 09-23 18:31:49.485 1875 1935 W System.err: at com.google.android.apps.googl evoice.net.masf.MASFGetVoicemailConfigurationRpc.createGetVoicemailNumbersReques t(MASFGetVoicemailConfigurationRpc.java:43) 09-23 18:31:49.495 1875 1935 W System.err: at com.google.android.apps.googl evoice.net.masf.MASFGetVoicemailConfigurationRpc.createRequestPayload(MASFGetVoi cemailConfigurationRpc.java:39) 09-23 18:31:49.505 1875 1935 W System.err: at com.google.android.apps.googl evoice.net.masf.MASFApiRpc.requestSubmit(MASFApiRpc.java:192) 09-23 18:31:49.505 1875 1935 W System.err: at com.google.android.apps.googl evoice.net.masf.MASFApiRpc.run(MASFApiRpc.java:208) 09-23 18:31:49.505 1875 1935 W System.err: at com.googlex.common.task.Abstr actTask.run(Unknown Source) 09-23 18:31:49.505 1875 1935 W System.err: at com.googlex.common.task.Abstr actTask.runInternal(Unknown Source) 09-23 18:31:49.515 1875 1935 W System.err: at com.googlex.common.task.TaskR unner.run(Unknown Source) 09-23 18:31:49.515 1875 1935 W System.err: at com.googlex.common.lang.Threa dFactory.run(Unknown Source)
Absolutely loving 2.1 and will be contributing to the Red Bull fund tomorrow.
PS. I think it might be that I'm using this phone without a sim card. Would be weird since the old version worked but then again, I'm no developer.Last edited by Dbagjones; 09-23-2010 at 08:44 PM. Reason: Clarification

So if it gets to the green android custom boot animation, does that mean it succeeded and I just need to wait? Or is there a chance it still failed?

Quick question...is the long boot regular or just the first boot? Just wondering. I'll probably run the install later tonight.
- 09-23-2010, 08:54 PM #159
Just the first.

So when it's done booting up, will I have to redownload all my apps and such?

Everything is running very smooth on my end and I love this. Thank you!!
The only downside to this thing is I used the ATT Navigator as I find that easy to use. Is there a way to have that as an APK, or should I restore my phone using nandroid, use MyBackup Pro or other backup software to backup that APK file and data, rewipe my phone and reinstall your ROM, and then install ATT Navigator?
If I do that, will that present problems with your ROM?
