so hows the new version coming? cant wait to be rid of the majority of blur again. the contacts and accounts problem, to me, seem related. they seem to be tied to blur. how does the nexus one log you into google, since its just pure android(i believe)? adapting that log in method would seem to me to be a fix for both problems. then again i imagine this is much easier done in my imagination then actual reality.

the settings force close is caused by removing blur. i have to decompile the settings.ap-0k and fix whats wrong. the messeging not beinglinked to contacts anymore is caused by me replacing the blur one with aosp messeging app

ah ok..well that makes sense..either way loved the rom before, sure it will be even better this time around. i found a work around for the contacts anyway. just had to export the contact to a .vcf i believe, and then import that .vcf to google and then they all show up.

the clcokwork recovery port for the backflip has been released.

my rom will be released on rom manager and i will release it here.

rom manager installed and payed for... now waiting patiently for the new rom. going to be ota or how does this work through rom manager?

It works like any other recovery. You have to flash clockwork recovery to your phone. Then when I put it up on rom manager you can easily flash it. Instead of having to download it transfer it to your phone it downloads it automaticly does an md5 check sum and then flashes it automaticly without much user interaction.

ok, yea got the recovery installed. been playing around with rom manager too. already used it to flash back to this rom from preclair

Of course I saw the post about Clockwork being avialable for us now (thanks a bunch!) as I was getting ready to go to bed last night. So much for trying to crash out early! Flashed the recovery and it's working beautifully along with ROM Manager. Well done, and thanks again.

I already flashed this, (and it is great by the way nice job) and now when i try to import from sim it says error, is there a way i can just get the contacts from the nandroid backup i made prior to this? or will i have to go back to the preclair beta 3 i had and do some backup with a program there?

This all sounds good but I currently have you de_blurred on my phone and I installed rom manager. When I try to get the rom update it tells me there is no update? Why so?

Is there going to be an updated De_Blurr based on the latest J_r0dds's Rom that's actually for MB300 with 3D ?
