NOTICE: This rom is a continuance of Eclair2Cliq Made by TravisJames., But ported over to the dark side (backflip)

I have a working AOSP build of Eclair. wifi/radio/bt. i at the moment have issues with the rild server but im hoping to get all that worked out.

Disclaimer

While this build is heavily optimized, it is also capable of pushing your phone much harder. I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,You use this rom at your own risk. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you." --cynaogenmod

Instructions

1. Make sure that you have installed J_r0dd's recovery!!!! (Click Here) if u dont already have it

2. Copy the file to your SD card, either by using "drive mode", or you can use adb push (I personally recommend drive mode). Place the file in the root of your SD card.

3. Reboot your phone into recovery (hold down the camera button while turning on, release when prompted, then press the volume down key).

4. If you haven't made that nandroid backup earlier, select Backup/Restore, then "Nand backup". Wait for this to finish.

5. Go back to "Wipe". Then select "WIPE ALL".

6. Finally! Go to Flash zip from SD, and select "Eclar2Flip_Alpha(1).zip" .

7. Sit back let the system flash it over. An be ready for ur first look at a AOSP build for our phones.

8. Select "Reboot system now" to boot into your new ROM!

100 mb of free memory. with everything loaded and runing.

edit-- Correction i have 112 to 120 after runing advanced task killer after boot.
--------WHAT WORKS:---------
Phone Calls -- due to rild not working it takes a while for the phone calls to end
**edit phone calls. Beta3 fixes phone calls. make in and out calls
Wifi and wifi data works as of Beta 3
MMS -- due to rild it shows msgs as not being sent but they are sent
**edit MMS Beta3 fixes the issue

3D Acceleration -- Cant get this tell we have a optimized kernel from the 2.1 Release

Alpha 1 well Alpha it started working lol

Beta 1 never released but got phone calls and messenging working.
Beta 2 never released fixed some issues with rill, as well as sms sending but reporting not sent
Beta 3 Released newer boot.img with updated kernel
Beta 3.1 Released**** GPS,Camera fixed

At the very least, no moto blur. If it's anything like Eclair2Cliq, it should be much more responsive and quick.

Anyway, sounds good nexten, hope you get the kinks worked out.

The Basic Jidst of this whole rom. Is to have all the Blur Gone. Your basic android setup. Its Quick, Its Fast, Its Deadly lol j/k on the deadly part.

With this being built from source it has only what is included in the android source and nothing else from other companys aka motoroloa. except a camera package couldnt get camera working right without it but other then that. everything is stock.

i still need to get app2sd working and to get my root to hold. right now i only have shell root. but i have an idea of how to fix

so when you get this working closer to 100% how much harder is 2.2? wouldnt a stock 2.2 be roughly the same as building stock 2.1? also will this come stock with theme??

no i plan on releaseing this just as plainjane as it was built. i well make some themes for it in the future but my goal right now is to just get this runing more 100% instead of 85% i have now. again i wont be able to get 3d working until Moto releases 2.1 but i will do what i can.

On the 2.2 subject. thier is alot of differnce between the 2.2 and 2.1 aosp. espsically with the kernel. 2.2 wants to run on 2.6.34 we have 2.6.29 and kernzilla is using 2.6.27 but he as greatly patched the kernel to run the update features. something i do not wish to get in. This was a big learning expereince and i do plan on releasing more roms in the near future. just got to get the jidst of this down and out.

well that should be cool also..kinda want to see what pure android is really like without all the crap...im willing to test anything you need tested

cant wait... im running fushion now because i don't really care for blur. so if you need anymore beta testers just get a hold of me. if this thing turns out anything like your themes im sure it can be nothing short of amazing.

I am flashing this but gives me error when installing,

No problem dude, that is why we testers are here.

Thanks again for the build, I am looking forward that this AOSP ROM would be major milestone for Motus development. Modders like you and j_r0dd has given new hope to BF owners after Motorola let the string lose.

I'll be up to try your ROM and give you feedbacks later on.

Edit: I tried again but getting the same error, you sure about updating the link?

this is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen on my backflip, this is way faster then motoblur,
i didn't knew that backflip had such capabilities, but the
Edit: tried with the latest link, installs fine, boots fine (bootanimation script)
but my network (att) is not working, i tried to turn off airplane mode but doesn't helps.
