I'm having problems with my LED notification light. It won't turn off after a notification cames in and i couldn't find the option for the notification light over CyanogenMod Settings like on b1.

How does de charge_only_modes actually works ? I try turning off the motus and then plug it to the wall charger but it'll boot like on b1. I know that still needs some fixes, im just asking.

To people having reboot prob. Flash no overclock mt kernel and run fix_permissions from term..that fixed all my probs. Hope that helps. I have no issues after doing this.everything works well. Runs very fast with no oc.

Just unplug your SD Card, Format it under Windows (or any OS you're using), preferably using low level format (just uncheck the "Quick Format" checkbox under Windows), then upload Beta 2 and recovery, plug it back into your phone, and there we are, you shouldnt get any more error messages.

even after the sd format, going back to stock 2.1, trying multiple recoveries I am still getting that error

FYI: your boot partition is having a bad blocks issue (physic damaged not soft) bad blocks is taking the space to store boot.img on this partition (like bad sector on HDD you cannot fix it) may be you can wait for next release KZ will slim down the boot.img or you can request your carrier to replace your new phone (just tell them you have bad blocks issue on your nand memory)

After upgrading from beta1 to beta 2 I have got a big problem.My auto-rotating not working.If i open my device keyboard then it rotate and if i close it then it will rotate again.but no auto-rotate.I have checked all settings about auto-rotate but no success.
Moreover accelerator based games like "FIFA 10", "NEED FOR SPEED" is not working.In fifa 10 and need for speed games the the accelerator doesnt work.
This mean the accelerator sensor is not working.What i will do?Pls give me some solution everyone...
Oh i have also wiped cache but no success...

Both the notification and charge only mode are working fine for me.. My phone is actually off and plugged in and charging right now as I type.

And KZ thanks for charge only mode too!!
Hopefully now I can wipe my battery stats when its finished charging and restore my battery!
Ever since going to CM6 from Preclair, my battery has gone to crap and wont even last a whole day anymore..
Not sure if my battery is going or what.. Could be that CM6 and its 'heating' issues damaged it but well see once its charged and reset..


SantosXD - No there is no way to increase the NAND. Its a set amount of flash memory just like an SD card. Once blocks go bad, its bad, theres nothing you can do but get it fixed or replaced..


For all the folks having trouble so far, Id highly suggest following Ric67's advice and flash the no oc/no mt kernel first.. Remember these are 'aftermarket' options that were added by the lovely j_r0dd and Kernelzilla.. They MIGHT work but there is a reason Motorola left them out of their own software.. Ive been running the no oc/no mt kernel and not a single problem yet, the rom is working beautifully..

i am a bit confused and maybe you might be too at a point of time .
i have installed BETA1. if i want to update to beta2 with no-mc/no-oc or no-oc only which files do i have to flash ? JUST the Update-2.6.29.6xxx(mb) or the ROM(61mb) and the update ?

I cannot use my microphone...any app that require mic, egg google voice, search by voice or voice recorder....in call its ok...but in applications its just not working...any idea?

i suggest you do a wipe all..then wipe dalvik cache,wipe battery stats,then flash the ROM and then flash the NO OC/MT kernel..you can run only one kernel at a time..it`ll run without any problems

how to wipe battery status...if i have understood firs I make a factory reset, then I use rom manager to wipe data and cache, dalvik cache....then I flash rom ??? thanks in advance
