    BOOM.
I know that, but I want to backup everything- not just apps. But if the free version does also data backup, maybe I should have a try.

EDIT: THANK YOU, it does work.

yup it most deff backs up data. just make sure u restore data+app/apk and reboot once done. u can even ONLY back up data or the apk alone and restore them by there selves.

Good ROM, but there's couple of problems: When using Equalizer(DSPManager) and turning compression on- closing the screen, the sound starts to crackle alot and slow down, then the phone is stuck for couple of minutes until it reboots. When compression is turned off, it works roughly without crackling. The second problem is that for example Fruit Ninja started to lag ALOT, it worked smoothly on CM7 unofficial, just sometimes a little lag. Chainfire doesn't solve this.
EDIT: And Damcam can capture just HIGH/STANDARD quality videos.. no good

The backflip was never meant for gaming.

Fruit Slice runs smooth on my phone. It's a good alternative that's 4x smaller and free.

Also the desktop version of the Android Market now lets you filter the user reviews to only show people with your device. That way you can check ahead of time how well it'll run on your phone.

ill say there is only 1 issue pertaining to the new market if your running version 3.3.11. after u touch the apps tile, it'll freeze and the market will then force close. it always happens due to low memory.

otherwise nightly #56 is smooth as ever and i got a quadrant score of 436.

Use the same recovery to restore that you used to back it up.

At long last, my Backflip journey has come to an end. I called AT&T and got them to give me my upgrade 3 months early, and snagged myself a new Galaxy S II Skyrocket. Never shopping on the low end for Android again.

I just wanted to give a big thanks again to j-r0dd. Being stuck under contract with an awful, unsupported phone would have been utterly unbearable if not for the work of you and the other developers who kept this thing alive longer than it deserved. I would have thrown my phone out the window a long time ago if not for that.

Seriously, it's the wimpy phones that need you guys the most. Thanks.

Yea I got that update a while ago and it seems to have fixed the problem.

Still debating if I should go back to 2.1, CM7 seems to be laggy for the Backflip in some areas, for example, the youtube app runs slow and when locking my screen and trying to turn it back on, sometimes I get a blank screen and I have to re-lock it a couple more times before getting my lockscreen to show up, it kinda sucks.

I'd like to see 2.1 to do even half as good as this.
    Phone: Motorola Backflip
    ROM: CyanogenMod 7.2
    Recovery: ClockworkMod 5.0.2.6
