The lil cm symbol in the upper left when you first install, if you pull down the notifications and tap on that, it explains a bit of what it does.

IMHO, I say just hit enable stats so we can get the official support please?? Don't make a dev cry, it's not a pretty site, lol

j_r0dd:

Performance
691 - 273
710 - 288
729 - 280
748 - 303
768 - 309
786 - 318

I hung around and ran some apps @ 786MHz and for the first time in my backflip life the damn thing didn't crash and reboot right away, so I'm runnin with it for now. Still seems to lag just a bit in response to buttons and screen taps, but the apps run fine.

Come to think of it, when it would reboot when OCing before on preclair, it was when I flipped the screen out, typed something, then closed it. That doesn't cause a crash with this.

After seeing a post on page 36 (next page) I had to try the lagfree governor @528MHz. Sure enough it scored as good as 748+ MHz on the performance gov. Hmmmm.

Lagfree
528 - 308
691 - 272
786 - 294

786/performance ran a little warm so I'm gonna run 528MHz Lagfree today.

You rock.

that looks more on point. what i don't understand is why 786 is still there lol. i removed the 786 frequency. rescan frequencies in set-cpu and see if it still shows

First of all i wanted to thank you for this rom, is the best one out there.

And also i wanted to say that i scored almost the same in quadrant as other testers had but i did notice a decrease on fps rate in comparison with test 11. I think thats why we are getting crapier scores now. Durnig the quadrant test videos were laggy. Dunno if its related to the oc or what. Just wanted to share my feedback, thanks again!

k i ran battery again. this time i tacked on another 15 min of run time and reduced display time by roughly 8min...

the battery is currently at 30% still and screen consumption is down to 60% (from 67%) so it seemed to have some effect, though the changed run times could account for that.

the bottom line is the alterations seem to have saved me 25-30 % battery through out the day.

to change the settings go to settings> cyano settings>display>automatic backlight>edit other levels... from there i set screen to 25 for all of them and buttons and keyboard to 150 (from 225) i dont notice a screen brightness difference but hey i got an extra 30%

Thanks. I found out what my problem was "sync on gmail" wasn't turned on for me. I checked it and it fixed my problem.

As far as telling the differences from test 11 and 12, I found the lower quadrant scores in 12 made my phone a big sluggish, flipping from the homescreen to the apps menu felt a bit slower so i switched back to 11 which had the higher quadrant scores. My phone felt a bit faster than b4.

For the battery problems, I think it all depends if u have the wifi on or off. In the 8 hours of work when i had no wifi on my phone, my battery dipped about 15-20%. But still better than kz's cm6 rom.

Can't wait for tomorrow when j_rodd actually gets his backflip. I think he'll be relatively surprised on how good the phone really is. The only downside is the screen is a bit too small and the camera sucks even tho its 5mp.

id assume you could set the values to zero and it would sut off. but idk

anyways the final results are in for the complete discharge
total run time : 11hrs (up from 10)
with display on/awake: 3hrs (up from 2.5 hrs)
and display %: 64% from 67%

and thats with hard usage... a lot harder than the other day. the last hour of the test was screen on the whole time browsing downloading... adding launcherpro.. the phone actually heated up a lot whereas the last test it was cool the whole time. this time around was intense usage... and all in all great battery life. couldnt be happier!!
