ADB connection
I'm having trouble connecting with ADB. I don't know if it's a problem on my PC or the phone.
Has anyone else had this problem? I haven't had this trouble before but I just setup ADB on a different PC at work. I've got the drivers installed and ADB updated. Same process I did at home last night and connected before I flashed test 8.
No devices show up when I type 'adb devices' from my command prompt.
I'll try on another one that has worked in the past.
And post back.
I was unsuccessful at connecting on a previously working ADB.Last edited by monkadelicd; 06-13-2011 at 09:25 AM. Reason: progress report

thanks soooo much for this ROM!!!
using test8 now. awesome so far.
what are the differences of your recovery instead of the rom manager default and will there be a way to use rom manager without having to install the default recovery then your recovery?
glad to hear the wifi problem will be fixed in test9.
for others having problems with the keyboard to sign into google on first boot. i did a combination of booting with keyboard open and closed. and connected and disconnected from pc. not sure what did the trick but i didn't have to skip sign-in.
is radio even possible to enable on the backflip?

btw test9 is up!
re-organized the menus mostly. main thing was i created a proper wipe menu and removed a bunch of those unnecessary no's from the confirm menu.Last edited by j_r0dd; 06-13-2011 at 10:45 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Nice :-) with this recovery speaker for incoming calls work OK ! :-)
BTW tested Test #9 and about keyboard backlight, it works OK ! only issue is when you unfold keyboard while phone is in sleepmode, it wakes up, keyboard lights up and then backlights in about 2 seconds disapper, but when you use it normally in wake state, fold - unfold works with backlights OK !!
Nice thank you for your work.Motorola Milestone 2 - the greatest.

-wifi fixed
-lagfree governor
-3d fixed
-yakk's network unlock is built into the kernel. I don't know if it works, but it's there.
-possible fix for LWP's
-KB backlight has a semi fix. Needs work still, but if you start the phone with the KB closed the lights will work. The downside to this is if you start the phone with the KB out the lights won't light up until you close and re-open the KB. Then they will stay in sync after.
