[ROOT] Motus - ME600 (EMARA Backflip)

Hey, I've compiled a testflash for Motus in order to gain root (based on the leaked SBF). So if the leaked SBF flashes this should too.

Note that this will not work on the AT&T Backflip, only on the Motus (Euro & Chinese backflip).
(Use RSD Lite 4.5.7 (or newer) to flash the file, google it if you don't have it)

Based on the Chinese backflip.

Thanks for making this. Have you seen this? http://myjanky.com/beagleboard/?p=100 This guy is claiming you can build a rooted update.zip from source, but it seems fishy to me... any opinions?

Seems a little fishy to me. No pictures except of recovery mode... no details on how he did it, except "super secret development stuff" and now he's had a private talk with AT&T where they told him more super secret stuff. Seems very fishy. I hope its not though, because I want to get this thing rooted...

Skrilax_CZ i have a question. I can flash the motus on AT&T but i will lose 3G, right?
Then if i want the orignal AT&T, i just need to reflash the AT&T SBF file.

You cannot flash the Motus GC firmware over your phone.

Lets just say that it miraculously flashed to the ATT Backflip.What's the probablilty it will brick it?

None, you'd just flash back ATT firmware.

hi, can you "leak" how did you root this rom, and has anybody flashed this room and tested it?
I have a Chinese Motus, but donot have time to test it these days, just want to know some details, thanks for your great work and looking forward to your rootrom final version

yes, it works, i tested a week ago, and posted some screenshots, it's perfect, and thanks a lot
but it is still version0.34.
can you do us a fever to root it in a "updata.zip"?
