File explorer for Apps2SD??

Is there any app or someway to tell exactly what apps are installed on your SD card??
I guess I could go through the /system/app folder and try to eliminate but eh laziness prevails and sometimes those apks arent exactly named as conveniently as you want them to be!

I know Ive somehow gotten into the ext partition via command line before (I may have done it with adb shell cant remember) but was trying to go through my phone the other day and couldnt remember how I browsed it before...

Theres a neat A2SD browser Ive seen around but it only works on 2.2 and up...

if you're concerned about deleting apps then use titanium backup

With the way that A2SD works on j_r0dd derived ROMs, I'm pretty sure that all apps except for /system apps are moved to the SD. There really isn't a need for a browser. The proper A2SD function that is baked into Android 2.2 allows you to choose whether or not an app is installed to the SD.

Yeah jmgib I think you're right. I was under the impression that an app had to specifically support running from the sd but I just went through /system/app and nope! All the stuff that's flashed with the rom stays there but anything aftterwards goes to the sd. My root explorer and a couple of other apps are still on the phone but I added those to the update.zip and resigned it before I flashed it...

probably doesn't matter since it's already been said that all apps are placed on the SD card, but on the computer, at least with Ubuntu 10.10 but probably any other OS that supports the filesystem used for A2SD, plugging the data cable in and choosing usb drive mounts both filesystems on the card. in my case it will seperately come up with a 7.4 gb filesystem that is the "normal" partition, and a 512 mb filesystem which is the a2sd space

Odd I havent checked the /system folder but in my case not all apps are installed to the SD Card as I notice there is only 50 of the 200 MB free on the Bflips internal memory.

Did you move your dalvik-cache? Always eats up my memory. Or repair a2sd and then move dalvik to SD (using Gscripts).

But what do I know I don't have a backflip :P

As tg11285 stated, there are other things such as cache that eat up that space also.

/data/app and /data/app-private is what goes to SD. You can, if you chose, move /data/dalvik-cache to SD as well. /data/data stays on internal memory. That is all your app data. Btw root explorer will show what's there. It is symlinked to /system/sd soon will just be in sd-ext
